And I'll try to help you drive faster. But not too much fasterer. There is, how do you say, a sweet spot where I'd like your times to improve upto.

The Riggs Camero may also come into play.

This is true. I'm just waiting for the day they finally get some good tires.

I was talking to Riggs III and it sounds like that day will come in Lovelock. He used the word Hoosier.

Nick Koan 2007-08-13 05:21 PM

Eek.

Well, good on them. More competition is good (and it could be especially good now :p)

MattR 2007-08-13 07:03 PM

I heard today that a few cars are going with fresh Hoosiers to Finish the season!!!!

Good try on the make up event Matt !

AAAh no one checked to see if there would be conflict of the LoveLock autoX and the thunder hill Rally Cross. *try to take lightly* :P

I do hear they make some SICK courses out there!

I don't consider that a conflict. Besides, I reserved that date back in February before SFR solo OR rally-x knew what they were doing. So they can plan around us.

I was thinking of running in Sacramento because of the long break in our schedule. If you have the itch look at the link.

I'd be down, except it's at the Fairgrounds. Terrible, terrible site.

Does the surface or size suck?

Both. Plus there are lamp posts in the middle of the course.

Oh that seems safe

Kevin M 2007-08-16 02:15 PM

You can make safe courses there, but I wouldn't drive 3 hours to drive on one, on that surface.

moose 2007-08-16 02:22 PM

Is the surface really that bad?

Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

...driving there is like getting your ass kicked by Batman.

Well I'll burn that whole idea. Back to the garage for more tinckering with the kart.

A1337STI 2007-08-19 03:14 PM

I was going to hit up that AutoX , but then I read about the RallyX event.

Yep lots O anger wrxKid, but how else do you use the dark side of the force ? :D

Oh yeah and i rolled over at the Rally X ...

Rolled over laughing with Joy :) event went well, no injuries, one guy popped a bead on a tire. The course was really really long. the fastest time of the day was a 1:47 In a Dirt prepped STI on rally tires. Tein coil overs (think he said something about gravel spec? or maybe thats what his springs are)

MPREZIV 2007-08-20 06:21 AM

Yep, as well as tarmac stuff, TEIN makes "gravel specific" suspension.

bxracer69 2007-08-20 07:13 AM

I wish i had a complete gravel spec car, in addition to my current car.
