But, its cool I still have to finish MP2 first. |
^that's what I was going to say.
|
Why would anyone want to bother with metriod when you have bioshock.
|
Cuz Metroid is one of the coolest games ever doy. But I don't have a Wii =(

I like how bioshock is plastered with nvidia logos and teh release notes talk about stuttering issues with nvidia cards.
I had some issues with trying to change the resolution or sound options but game play was bugless. Cool creep factor. I love the setting/time period too. Reminds me of rocketman/wings on the amiga. |
I was going to go buy bioshock..........
then i turned on my xbox360 to play a game of madden and I get the three red rings of death so now my 360 is out of comission for 3-4 weeks :( I just hope I get it back before Halo 3 comes out |
That stinks! I think my Xbox might be starting to crap out too. I dunno if it's just the game (doubtful) but when I have been playing in the last few days it skips or pauses like crazy. Like every 10 seconds or so it will pause for like a second or two. Then sometimes it runs fine. At least we have a 3 year warranty now. My buddies FOURTH Xbox crapped out on him on Thursday. When he called to tell them they keep sending him broken Xboxes and that he wants his money back or to speak to somebody higher they just say "Sorry, we don't do anything like that." Whatta load.

CoD4 Beta is awesome.

Anyone know when the cooler running XBox360's will be in stores? Is there anyway to know which are which? Any price drops coming before Xmas?
After playing Eric's last weekend, I want one... but I don't want to bother if I'm going to have to send it to MS once every two months. |
Supposedly the SKUs on the side will say Falcon on them, instead of Zephyr (chipset codenames). And the last rumor I heard was that they should start showing up in October.
|
I wouldn't mind having a 360 also.
|
You don't really need to wait. The media has blown the "broken xb360" thing way out of proportion.
|
Forget the media, everyone I know that has one has experienced the ring of death.

You know, the whole thing is really kind of comedic when I think about it. . . People tend to really trash their stuff. I've handled thousands of trades over the years, and perhaps only 5% of it is in the kind of condition I'd want to see my own belongings in. I can't count anymore the number of times I've heard some schmoe tell me his stuff is in "great condition" to try and cajole more money out of me, when in fact I would never let it see the inside of my own house. I can almost guarantee that the vast majority of the people complaining about their 360 dying have not taken care of it as well as they claim. Given this, it's absurd to watch people get all pissy when the thing doesn't turn out to be as reliable as the SNES that kept working after it had soda spilled on it. I mean, it's not like the current gen systems have that many more tiny, delicate moving components. . . oh wait. At any rate, I think Microsoft is doing an admirable job of dealing with the problems that have arisen. The warranty was just extended to three years, which is pretty killer. The PS2 had a terribly high failure rate during the first year, and Sony pretty much told people to get bent. |
I don't know why anyone would buy something designed & built by Microshaft that they didn't absolutely have to. Is it really surprising that it has reliability issues?
|
If it breaks they fix it, end of story. Jeremiah correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure this is the best free warranty that a system has ever had. But what do I know it's not like I work with them all day.
