I couldn't find a schedule on renoscca.org..... Anyone mind telling me what time to be there Saturday morning, and roughly what time the day is over?

If you are going to run in the morning group you should show up by 7:30-8 AM, get tech inspection, and to make sure you get a walk on the course, if the afternoon probably by 11:30 ish... or run both!

Morning run group is usually done by around noon. Afternoon by probably about 4.

Thanks kdogg. I found the schedule as far as days, but I didn't see times for this weekend :( 7:30-8 was just what I needed to know, though.

Remembered 8-9ish, just no idea where I got that from.

Planning on being there Saturday morning and see where the rest of the weekend goes.

Round 16 results posted.

^ Thanks Mike!

It rained like cats & dogs at my house this afternoon, how was stead?

Congrats to Cody for today's top pax, both he and Matt were flying this morning. At one point, Matt had top pax, with a cone!

MattR 2010-10-02 05:33 PM

Man, Cody edged me out with his last run, it was awesome though. Definitely a tricky course today...But I sure had fun. Missed out on Top TOD to the Ariel Atom and an XP car, so I can live with that I suppose.

Cody took a huge bite out of Kevin's PAX lead though...wow, tomorrow is going to be tense. I think it's anyone's PAX race now...I've clinched 3rd, so it's down to Kevin and Cory to battle it out tomorrow. Plus they're running in opposite groups to start the morning, this should be awesome.

Kevin M 2010-10-02 06:02 PM

Stupid cones. I coned away a winning run, which would have clinched the season. I coned away a second place run, which would have clinched the season. And I coned away a 4th place run, which would have given me one more point going into tomorrow. It should be intense in the morning.

Pat called a lightning break around the middle of everyone's 5th run. It started pouring a few minutes later. Everyone took cover and/or left.

I worked slips and watched Kevin cone away a pax winning run feet from the finish. This morning, I nearly coned AFTER the lights due to potentially premature celebrating after my last run.

You and Kevin have pushed me to throw down this year!

I hope I can sleep tonight!

I'm bringing my Candy Mountain magnet. Be afraid.

I'm bringing back the Fire Breathing Awesome Mobile magnet. It can't fail me twice!

MattR 2010-10-02 06:41 PM

It's going to be intense...Looking forward to it.

It was an awesome day and a ton of fun driving, working and watching. Maybe not the working part - thanks for not knocking over the inside cone at exit of the box on one of your runs Kevin! That was nice of you :p

Good luck tomorrow guys. I guess the bench racing is working to talk me into day two. Hoping to put down my best time on a point run, obtaining my day goal of 72.... was successful, but my 76.... stuck for the points run. Anyway, shooting for 70 or better tomorrow. And, hoping cars like atoms and whatnot decide to take a day off to give me a chance at top 10 in novice :)

rory_a 2010-10-02 07:27 PM

Gotta go try to find some undertray and front bumper clips, and a full brim hat. I got burnt to a crisp and have a feeling I'm gonna be conin it up tomorrow.

rory_a 2010-10-02 07:31 PM

By the way, thanks for the ride Cody! That was almost more fun than driving.

I'd love the opportunity for more passenger seat time, especially if someone has the time to take a ride win me and tell me where I'm screwing up :p

Glad it waited until 5th runs, I'd better pack my rain gear for tomorrow.

That happened to Rach at RFR, she was trying to look over at the display after she crossed the finish lights, and ran over a cone. Doh!

dknv 2010-10-02 07:38 PM

Was Alex there this afternoon? (He's in the RNP results, but I thought he was rallying in AZ.)

Kevin W mentioned that somebody ran his number and class today, but it wasn't him.

Kevin M 2010-10-02 08:37 PM

I think it was Jens Morrison.

dknv 2010-10-03 05:22 PM

Wet day, good practice.
The timing system was flaky today. Nina told us there were a bunch of false starts on both the start and finish lights this morning; and working in the 4th run group (when it rained hard) there were lots of false starts on the start light. After correcting numerous false starts the dreaded 'Windows has encountered an error' message showed up.

I hope those results show up tonight. There are lots of congrats in order.

Kevin M 2010-10-03 05:27 PM

Running in the rain was awesome! It is kind of annoying to stand in the rain working, but I really enjoyed flinging the Mazda and then Silvio's STi around with standing water on the course. I was surprised how much grip remains out there- as long as you don't make mistakes!

k-dogg39 2010-10-03 06:22 PM

WOW, what a way to finish up the season!

I agree with all of this. The rain was really cool to run in, added that additional challenge. Yes working did suck in constant rain in the afternoon. My car felt really good today. Had good grip considering the conditions in the afternoon.

MikeK 2010-10-04 11:38 AM

Final results are up.

In other news, Alex Rademacher wasn't actually there yesterday. Robert Morrison ran Alex's number on his S2000 despite being told repeatedly he couldn't do it. I think they put him in the computer as 09 instead. Also, I think the tiebreaker for SM is wrong- Kevin and Jason tied, but Kevin had more wins.

SM is fixed. So Robert Morrison is 9 TBS?

cody 2010-10-04 12:10 PM

Thanks, Mike and company. Congrats Kevin (NEMESIS!!!1). Man, I can't believe you got 2nd yesterday. I was sure somebody would beat you! But you totally deserve 1st and I'll get you next year. ;)
