Nope. I haven't been there recently. My wife's been driving the red Legacy, so unless she came and took my car while I was at work....

The L's came in green for a couple years around 97-00. Two-toned = Outback Sport. I think mine is technically an "L Sport Wagon". It has the 2.2 and 5MT. Interior is very similar to the GC RS's. No scoop :( or JDM STi bumper. Maybe someday...

I've got SECCS stickers on the rear side windows, tint, and no front cloth.

JonnydaJibba 2006-02-09 08:28 PM

Black Evo with gold rims...club stickers..."I can't believe all my friends drive WRX's" <-- that made me lol.

Evo Mike, in no doubt the hottest Evo in town.

JonnydaJibba 2006-02-10 08:21 AM

That's what I was thinking but I've never seen him or his car before so... Those gold wheels really set off the car nicely.

GC8.Love 2006-02-10 08:23 PM

Saw teh Se7en parked across from Bangkok Cuisine on S. Virginia tonight.

MattR 2006-02-12 01:00 PM

I spotted Bob Danger bombing thru Washoe Valley today.

JonnydaJibba 2006-02-12 03:33 PM

Speaking of Bob Dinger, WHY CAN'T YOU RECIEVE PHONE CALLS? You should call me.

ShawnS 2006-02-12 07:43 PM

Saw a yellow Ferrari F355 Berlinetta at the S. Winco and at Safeway on S. Keitzke.

On my way home from work no less.

Jonny i'm a slacker and didn't pay my cell phone bill on time.

Probably nobody here, but on my way home from the bay last night, a Silver wingless '04+ WRX with CA plates passed me at about 9:45 near Boreal.

I was moving, but it was moving faster, and handled the speed through the Donner downhill without braking, so some skill or luck was involved. It backed way off at the first Truckee exit, but stayed on the freeway. Lost in my rear view by the end of Truckee.

Oh, and also almost got a DSM pegged by the radar cop on the East side of Truckee. :) Passsed him, but then my V1 went off, so I lifted and he blew by me all pissed. Aparently not fast enough though as the cop stayed put. Damn... :)

Nick Koan 2006-02-13 01:55 PM

Saw Franz's WRX today at Starbucks/Ben & Jerry's/Keva Juice/Port of Subs on South Meadows about 1:15pm-ish.

Right around the corner from my place, on Sierra Madre, there's a green SVX always sitting in front of a house, with two GL wagons as well. Just noticed the other day that there's a SECCS sticker on the driver's rear quarter window of the SVX!

Any body I e-know?

Hi anyways!

I think that's Tyson's co-worker...Shawn? He goes by Weasel on the board.

MPREZIV 2006-02-13 09:39 PM

Cool! Just wonderin! saw the sticker and thought, "hmm, i don't think i know who this is!"

Ezdno 2006-02-13 10:27 PM

I saw that silver wrx with additud on the plate, was a chick driving it though.

M3n2c3 2006-02-13 11:14 PM

A very small young woman came in to my store this morning. Now, Imprezas are by no means large sedans, but goodness, if that STi didn't look gargantuan around her as she drove off in it.

Dean 2006-02-17 05:30 PM

Just met a guy named Noe at Sid's with a white 06 STI and some nice wheels. Said there is another small Subaru group he hangs out with called "New Age". Some of the have logos on their cars... Anybody seen them around town?

Gave him a spotted card. Speaking of which, I am running out of cards. I Keep using them up on stock Legacys and Tribecas so I can post in this thread about them. :) So I was going to crank up the color laser and run some off. Scott, want to update them at all before I do? Who else needs some?

Maybe with some graphics showing one of DarkSTI's snow photos, with the caption "this is MY snowmobile"

Heheh, or you could just make a few extra for me. I've wished 3 or 4 times that I had such an item available when I've seen a tastefully-modded OBS or something.

tysonK 2006-02-17 05:52 PM

I've seen that group at our meet spot around 9:30-10pm a couple times. They seemed liked nice guys but didn't really make it clear they wanted to hang out with us.

I guess they could be our rivals if we played our cards right.

khail19 2006-02-17 05:53 PM

You can't really miss those New Age guys, the vinyl is on the whole side of the car. And I'm pretty sure they are not just Subarus, I vaguely remember an SRT-4 with the vinyl on it. Maybe he was just copying them cause he thought it was cool.

MattR 2006-02-17 06:02 PM

I think they are "New Era" not New Age. Andy (Red wingless bug eye who autocrosses) hangs out with those guys. There are a few WRX's, Sti's and Srt4's in the group that I've seen.

All I know, is one of them is talked about A LOT on the street racer forum. hmm.

Ran across a guy in a new silver '06 STI with dealer advo plates today. Pulled up next to me while I was waiting for a light in the left hand turn lane. Dude was in the straight/right turn lane. Upon the light changing, he makes an idiot move, cuts me off with an illegil left turn onto W Prater at an extremely high rate of speed into a school zone.

Hopefully it was'nt anyone from here. Judgeing by the age of the driver, advo plates ( no positive ID) and area. I suspect it was a kid showing his ass in a joy ride.

If it happened to be someone from here who just bought a silver '06 STI and pulled up next to an '03 sonic yellow bug eyed sedan exiting the shopping center at McCarren and Prater, please slow down. I happen to live a couple of blocks from this location and know several of the neighbors, as well as, elementry school children you just blew through with reckless abandondment.

What a jackass.

Sorry for the rant, but this one really hit close to home. If you know what I mean.

Dean 2006-02-17 06:19 PM

We don't need rivals, or weapons thank you very much. And, I think Matt is right, it is New Era...

I meant rivals in the social networking sense not the Suicide Bomber sense.

That's not someone from SECCS... for the most part people in this group keep their shirts tucked in. There's no need to drive like a retard when you're saving your tires for the track.

Does that mean Dean's shirt is tucked-in the most?

Reminds me of that dude on that old movie "Colors". You know, the dude with pants pulled up to his rib cage and the single top button of his shirt fastened.
YO Holmes

Nope, on Monday, around lunch time. 1-ish?

Bob Danger 2006-02-22 10:07 AM

So, last night I was on my way to work. Dirving through Pleasent Valley around 9:00pm, I was traveling at 60mph, I was running alittle late. There was a white Toyota Landcrusier 1 and 1/2 car lengths ahead of me, in the lane next to me the slow lane, that was traveling alittle slower than I was. I was in the process of passing this vehicle when out of the corner of my eye I see a car passing between us and cutting me off.
"Asshole", I said to myself.
The car was a black VW Jetta, it was lowered with clear tail lights. 1/2 a second later I saw another car beside me. Note I was still accelerating so there was about alittle over a car length between myself and the Crusier. This car jerks into my lane, it's so close that I can't see the license plate over my hood. This car was a Black 04 and up SUBARU IMPREZA WRX, it was lowered with wheels and a stock exhaust, clear tail lights, a Carbon Fiber trunk, and tinted windows.
I hope that this person is not on the board, but if you are please come to the meet on thursday so I can brake you'r F*#king legs with a baseball bat.

JonnydaJibba 2006-02-22 01:36 PM

Hahahaha, Bob man you are a pimp. The one thing that makes me think it isn't somebody here is the clears.

I saw a BLUE GC on Summit Ridge yesterday. Was going one way then turned around in the middle of the road pretty fast, took off even faster, then turned around again before turning off of Summit Ridge. Looked mostly stockish but he was driving kinda gnarly.

khail19 2006-02-22 08:52 PM

Was it BRP or RBP blue??
