I am guessing that Sybir knows this "local boy" and trusts him?

Yeah, it's Paul (Oaf on I CLub)...He's a good guy with a mechanical background. I'm sure he can handle most install jobs, and with time, he will probably take on tuning. As far as an uppipe install, or headers, he's plenty experienced. I think Paul will be making a formal announcement in coming weeks.

Paul installed my short shifter, hes a good guy :D

 We do now that the dissenting opinions have been split into their own thread. ;)

Man I just checked and holy crap: I have opposable thumbs too!

You should install your own stuff.

cody 2005-12-16 04:55 PM

Depends...

Should be coming next week... I hope. It's getting kind of shady and I have $400 on my visa bill that I have to pay :(

JonnydaJibba 2005-12-19 07:54 AM

It shouldn't be too hard will it? Unless there are some things about putting on a trunk and hood that I don't know? You get the hood pins on/in the hood right?

U53D 2005-12-21 02:20 AM

yes but on the trunk there is some cutting i need to do to put in the trunk latch and key hole (which is already there) soooo...

im unsure about the hood, but i know i need to install the hood latch also, havent checked if i need to do cutting there....

lemme know.

Duckie 2005-12-21 03:12 AM

Can't wait to see everything when it's done.

JonnydaJibba 2005-12-21 07:09 AM

I think the latch on the hood is a simple as bolting it in, but I'm not positive because I haven't tried it yet. I need to cut holes for the hood pins on mine too but I'm not sure how to do that either.
