FYI

The entire 10/4 event was getting full so unlimitedlaps has started a waiting list. They have done so to prevent the last few Subaru spots from being taken by non-Subaru's. You can still sign up for the event, but you will be placed on the waiting list. Unlimitedlaps will then fill the last 6 Subaru spots from the waiting list.

Including those on the waiting list, there are 27 Subarus registered so far. However, I have two payments that I can't match up with any registration record.

1. Aleksander Machalica ($190 Check payment)
2. Alex Nicoll ($190 Paypal)

If either of you two guys are on the board, please contact Hunpin at http://www.unlimitedlaps.com so he can match your payment up.

These two unknowns make for 29 Subies, so we only need 1 more. Unlimited Laps will be sending out a payment reminder to everyone who has not paid (about 90% of you). You have to pay by 9/17 in order to get the $190 price.

My latest records show 30 Subarus signed up and 5 of whom have yet to
pay up. They are:

2. Kevin Cartier
3. Kevin McDaniel
4. Mike Warfield
5. Pantalion Sanchez

I have 3 guys on the wait list, out of which 2 are Subarus.

I think we are in pretty good shape. Just need to get the 5 guys to pay
up or let us know if they aren't going to show.

BTW: What's the deal w/ tech inspections for this event? Will there be tech at the event, or do I need to get the car signed off beforehand?

I will be at the Reno SCCA Solo1 Trials event the Sat and Sun before the event, so I can't go to the A&S/S-Squared BBQ to get signed off on Saturday. What are my options?

Unlimitedlaps is pretty liberal about tech inspections. You can download the form from their website and have it filled out by any "shop".

You think I can get one of the SCCA Solo1 tech inspectors to sign it off? The Solo1 inspection as actually very rigorous since it's required by our insurance... it's just not a "shop".

Scott, I'm sure if you've just come from Solo1 that we can vouch for you or something.

That should be sufficient. They usually accept other tech forms if they are within a couple of weeks. Just staple a copy of your SOLO tech form to the back of the unlimitedlaps one.

I was actually thinking about just getting the Solo1 tech guy to fill out the UL one too.

That will work too. :)
