Hi - was out of town for a week, back yesterday.

It was so great to see you guys out there today!!

Scott/Matt/Sergio - that was really cool of you guys to bring extra donuts this morning!

Cold day again, but fun. I couldn't believe those karts, they took the top 4 spots in pax time today. John Perry in the Blue corvette was the fastest pax time of the non-karts, and John Leftcourte in the super7 was the fastest raw time of non-karts. Look on the renoscca.com web site in the next couple of days for your times.

p.s. want to put a plug in here for Sid, of Sid's Alignment & Brake. He's a great guy, I have him do my tires & brakes, and so do a bunch of other SCCA people. what'd you gus think of the 'tennis ball' today?

I had a great time. I really wanted to break into the 52's, but didn't pull it off. The sad part is that the other NSM cars were slaying my by 3 seconds. I think I need to ditch the ALK, and remove the MBC on race days so I can run STX. I'd be much more competative.

It just that the ~50hp the MBC gives me (especially in the lower gears) is so damned addictive!! I'm afraid that if I race w/ less than full power, I'll start driving fast on the streets again... and with more power than stock, I'll be going *way* to fast illegally.

BTW: Sid's car was gorgeous... not something you could drive on the streets, but on a course, it looks AWESOME!

BTW: I'm uploading about 150 pictures right now, as well as a few movies from the "in-car" camera I had during a few runs.

Check out this gallery for a selection of the better pics. I'm uploading all my pics and the movies into the "sperry Pics" folder right now, but it'll take another 10 hours (litterally... my upstream DSL is S_L_O_W!) before it's done.

Man, I wish I had taken this picture at 6MP so we could blow it up into a poster...

Absolutely amazing sky today!! All that wind was good for 1 thing: cloud formations. I got a few other amazing shots of the sky in the gallery

yah that is a really cool picture, it would have been great with a bit more detail to really make the WRX stand out. The top of the picture almost matches the car. I like how the dudes walking away thinking "Damn she's a fast driver".

Here we go... poster style!!

OMG, That is a beautiful picture Scott!

Good thing my car isn't closer in that pic, it was dirtier than I've ever had it at autox. I put off washing it, to put off the rain & snow. Worked.

Sid's car is the tennis ball, it still looks yellow to me (some say it's lime green).

No, 2nd run @107.9 was my best I think. 3rd run was a little faster but I hit a cone again. :x

imprezton 2003-04-28 06:19 PM

Without my help?

dknv 2003-04-29 07:59 AM

ArthurS 2003-04-29 10:07 AM

I can't believe I couldn't make it out there. Looks like it was a blast. I worked off and on all weekend. Next time. :?
