I just realized that I didn;t pay on Myautoevents.com...is there a place to go on the site to pay for the event, or do we just pay when we get there? I looked around on there and saw nothing about payment. I is confused. help

ArthurS 2003-05-19 10:10 PM

She said you could pay there, but it was 10$ more. So 65.00$ at the event.

tysonK 2003-05-19 10:13 PM

I'm pretty sure that we just needed to register, the main thing the SCCA is worried about is getting all the cars registered before the event so they can make things run smoothe, I think the payment is at the event, just bring your register paper you printed from the site(you did print it out right, well did'nt you matt?).

edit: damn, art is on the ball

tyson-"why am I always behind old ford vans before on-ramps!"

MattR 2003-05-19 10:14 PM

Yep, I just found the instructions on the SCCA site, we're good to pay 55 at the event. I can't wait...

Matt (4th out of 4 cars in STX standings)

tysonK 2003-05-19 10:25 PM

Ha,

I didn't know it was going to list your sponsor under your name in the event list. \\Here's what mines looks like

03 Subaru WRX MBP
The Tyson Kueper Racing Fund

matt, my browser only shows me, you, and theo in the standings :?:

ArthurS 2003-05-20 08:02 AM

ArthurS 2003-05-21 07:04 PM

Hey Debbie,

I can't make it Saturday night, but would probably be able to make it Sunday. If I did go up Sunday, would it still be 55$ for the day? Thanks.

Arthur

dknv 2003-05-22 07:31 AM

Art - $55 is for the package. I think if you go on Sunday only it'll be something like $25. I'll see if I can find out for sure and let you know - because even if you can't go on Sat., you'll still have fun racing on Sunday.

ArthurS 2003-05-22 07:43 AM

Yea, if you can find out for me, that would be cool. I kinda need to know by today. Thanks.

dknv 2003-05-22 11:18 AM

Art: you can show up on Sunday and pay $25 entry fee for just Sunday .

If you are sure you're not going to be there on Sat., the registrar needs to know asap -- so they don't prepare a registration package for you. Will you know for sure today? If so, let me know & I'll pass that along to Rick & Barb K.

ArthurS 2003-05-22 04:36 PM

Alright. Can I just pay that if I go out there? I am still not to sure about it all, especially the drive and the money for only one day.

dknv 2003-05-22 04:43 PM

Yes, if you want to just show up Sunday morning, you can pay $25 to run then. Registration is between 7-8:30am. There is a pizza party after Sunday's events, with awards presentations that's alot of fun. It's across the street from the airport/event site.

Also if you signed up on myautoevents.com, you should edit your entry and select the 'cancel this entry' button.

So should I let them know you won't be there for Saturday, for sure?

ArthurS 2003-05-22 05:26 PM

I will not there Saturday FOR SURE. I have 2 appointments i have to make. If they accept my proposal, that could buy my new exhaust :D

And I am still not even sure of Sunday.

MattR 2003-05-25 06:52 PM

Sorry you didn't make it Art, we were watching for you...Anyway, what a great weekend, the course was CRAZY FAST  !!!!!!!!!!! Like nothing I've seen, what a blast. 131 cars competed, and yes, Reno beat out Las Vegas region for the overall title...outstanding. There were some fast cars! my goodness....I also took a ton of pics so you guys can see what went down....Talk to you later

Matt

tysonK 2003-05-25 07:03 PM

i really shitted it up on sunday.
course was fast.
matt flew thru the course on sunday.

total fun had: a lot
total funds spent: a lot

tyson "i guess i dnf'd, but i only remeber hitting 2 cones"
timing official: "you missed a gate"
tyson "oh"

*lurches car back to grid*

ArthurS 2003-05-26 12:07 PM

Sounds like it was a blast.

Only thing I can saw about my weekend is I got a speeding ticket for 82 in a 55. :( But the cop knocked it down to a 76 in a 55. I swore the speed limit was 65 out there in portola. Bastards.

Dean 2003-05-28 10:18 AM

I perscribe one V1 radar detector as your next upgrade. Mine has saved me many times over it's cost which of course have been spent on other go fast goodies.

ArthurS 2003-05-28 10:43 AM

Yea, I do eventually need one of those. This ticket is going to be like 250$+, but I am going to court to fight it. The cop clocked my while passing someone. Who doesn't speed up to pass a slow car on one lane highways?

I seriously didn't even realize I went up to 82 mph or whatever. I was just trying to pass. Damn you Subaru for making such a nice, fast car. 8)

tysonK 2003-05-28 08:49 PM

Whoa. I swear everyone loves those V1 detectors, all this word around has almost broken my spirit, I might have to buy one, or I could could just never speed.

tyson(next auto-x I'm taking no prisoners)

ArthurS 2003-05-28 10:25 PM

I don't often, but it seems when ever I do more then 10 over, BAM, slapped with a ticket. One ticket on the way to Vegas I got 2 years ago, would have paid for the V1.

Arthur (next auto-x, I'm going to be held prisoner)

sperry 2003-05-29 07:49 AM

I got 2 tickets in the WRX, so I bought a V1. It's the bomb. The best thing about it, every braap! constantly reminds me of my ticket, and makes me drive 75 or less.
