It's a good thing we spend all that time writting the supplemental regulations...
Rule 11. Awards and Mementos
"...If the number of points events totals 20 or greater, drivers will receive one drop for every three events. Otherwise points will be totaled based on four drops or on a ratio of one drop for every four Solo2 events whichever is greater..."

Which if you do the math is a really stupid way to write it. 1-19 events: drops = 4, 20+ events: drops = int(events/3). Since I doubt we will ever have over 19 events, the answer is 4 drops.

Nick Koan 2005-08-13 08:28 PM

hah, you spelled tyre with a 'y'

I'm glad to be holding up the rear there :p

and yes Dean, my last name is Hansen, not Koan :D

I know I drove like a turd today, but why am I not listed on the street tire list?

Thanks.

Adam

I think that is the season standings, I don't know how many events you've run...

ivanko 2005-08-14 08:12 AM

Other than this one, I've run a total of ZERO points events.

Adam

Mike your like the Loeb of street "tyre" this year. Good job. It was fun watching all of guys/gals out there this weekend. Thanks for all the pointers. I really miss AutoX.

I should have gotten a picture of Sue's t-shirt. I just about died looking at it. :)

I was at home, my spreadsheet is at work. I was doing it by hand so I only did the top few. The next post will have the full street tyre results.

Kevin M 2005-08-15 01:50 AM

Man, I wish I'd had a car in time for this event. I really dug myself a hole to climb out of to catch Matt and Kyp. :(

Libila 2005-08-15 08:39 AM

Yeah! Pete and I finished 1st and 2nd on Saturday. Pete, thanks again for letting me drive your car.

SlickNick112 2005-08-31 02:35 PM

How about official results from the August points races? Any luck getting those done?

There are no provisions for only one PAX competitor, so she gets the full 21.

MattR 2005-09-26 04:04 PM

Any chance of getting an update on standings here before the last event? I'd like to see where we sit going into the last event/.

They are up to date. We have had 13 rounds so far.

MikeK 2005-09-26 04:08 PM

Or do you mean on saturday night? If so, then yes, I plan on updating them after round 14 :)

MattR 2005-09-26 04:12 PM

Oh, I did not know they were current..Are the Lovelock event 13 points added to the total? Then cool.

MattR 2005-09-26 04:22 PM

Boy, I need good overall PAX finishes and I have a chance to break into the top ten overall....sweetness.

MikeK 2005-09-26 04:42 PM

Yes, and Dean still has a shot at a trophy

Edit: smaller files are posted, as well as Round 14 details.

doubleurx 2005-10-02 07:49 PM

Scott: did I read the results correctly that you are displacing Mike K in his own car? How does that work for season results? Can you change cars mid-season? Just curious.

MattR 2005-10-02 08:36 PM

Yeah, it sucks to get beat in your own car...I think all of us regulars have been dealt that hand a few times :p Lucas put the smack down on all of us while driving my sti today, wow. If nothing else, it is the ultimate motivator to improve your skills.

In other news...Congrats to Mike K for winning overall PAX drivers standings this season, what a great accomplishment. Scott, Dean,, great job on top 10 finishes in PAX too...

Next season will be so competitve again. As Pete, Brian and Andy move from Novice, we definately have some new challengers to watch out for. I'm happy to see SECCS Motorsports doing so well!

Forgotten 2005-10-02 08:45 PM

Keep up beings the bridesmaid Matt, thanks for the enouragement though. I am really looking forward to next season. I'm glad I finally got to run on saturday with you guys. It was pretty eye opening. All you guys are blazing fast. Thanks for the help today Dean, and Tyson just wait until you get that downpipe for stage 2...38s no problem.
Ninja edit: Brian you'll never catch me Haha
