Let me help you

use [ img ] (w/o space) instead of <img>. HTML tags are disabled on this board, so you'll have to use the vb tags.

Yeah, since it's just a stupid intarweb poll, what should I expect, right? I just figure I'm really a Conservative Libertarian in modern terms.

Let's throw some fuel on this fire!

I find it hilarious that Roman Catholic is the lowest on my list, since that's how I was raised...

I'm gonna go re-take the quiz to get a Neo-Pagan score... afterall, I've already got the goat pants.

khail19 2005-10-28 04:48 PM

This is amusing, I was raised Christian, and most of my mother's side is Muslim. Both are way down the list. The one I don't get is Liberal Quaker 91%??? How can there be liberal Quakers?

I too am curious... what's a Liberal Quaker? Otherwise I'm not too surprised at the results. Although apparently, I accept Roman Catholicism more easily than they would like to think I do.

A mix of the the first two seems about right. Where the hell did they get #3, though? Straight from Humanism to Christian Protestant? :~:
Simply put, I'm agnostic - too lazy to come up with some real beliefs :P

Hahaha.. 2 years later I end up a Moderate Liberal Populist.

I guess I've gotten more and more jaded against right-wing causes.

Funny how the oldest guy on the board (besides maybe Dean by a year or two) is the most "liberal". I think my time working for a French company and spending time in France pulled me to the left/populist. And my 10 years in South Carolina and 2 years in Oklahoma revolted away from the right. And now the Mayberrry Mackiavellis have pushed me farther left. I am definitely much more "left" than when I was 20yo.

But... I didn't like how the questions were phrased in many cases either. My answer for most difficult questions of weight is in general, "It depends". And it does depend... usually.

edit: Whoops, looks like JC might be more "liberal". He certainly is liberal in his EVO wheel selection...

New Quiz

Ok, this little quiz ranks the presidential candidates according to your views on certain hot-button issues.

http://www.dehp.net/candidate/index.php

My results:

Kucinich 58
Gravel 48
Richardson 35
Obama 35
Biden 34
Edwards 34
Clinton 34
Dodd 31
Paul 24

McCain -6
Thompson -18
Brownback -25
Cox -25
Huckabee -28
Giuliani -32
Hunter -51
Tancredo -52
Romney -55

 I feel a little dirty since Kucinich came up as my highest score. The guy is a frothing socialist, and I don't like a lot of his views on the role of government. I do like Bill Richardson though, even though he has no chance of winning.

Kevin M 2007-09-07 07:54 AM

Apparently, I should give up and go to another country. My scores were low because I was 'meh' on most of the issues.

Gravel 22

Kucinich 20

Richardson 15

Edwards 9

Dodd 8

Clinton 8

Obama 7

Biden 7

Paul 1

McCain -1
Thompson -4
Giuliani -8
Huckabee -15
Cox -15
Brownback -19
Hunter -21
Tancredo -22
Romney -26
