Erm, it was lobby at 8:20... we realized after we got to our seats at like 8:35 that you weren't with us, and none of us knew what you looked like.

:brill:

Kevin M 2006-03-17 11:31 PM

Oh, and the movie ruled. Very nearly as good as Munich, in some ways a little better.

Dean 2006-03-17 11:40 PM

V was very good.

We will choose to disagree on Munich which I think was full of itself and not very good at all.

Kevin M 2006-03-17 11:45 PM

Very full of itself, but that didn't overshadow the point IMO.

Kevin M 2006-03-18 12:20 AM

I thought this was appropriate.

sp00ln 2006-03-18 01:08 AM

I thought it was good too... that movie is going to cause quite a stir i think.

A1337STI 2006-03-18 02:45 AM

whoops, sorry guys, i didn't leave soon enough. i was not expecting snow over the pass (it wasn't snowing in south lake at all) . i ended up a bit lost and called Cody for directions and by the time i got there it was about 9 so i just met up with him for some St pattys day drinking ;)

JonnydaJibba 2006-03-18 11:43 AM

So it was good then huh? I still wanna see it hella bad but I was busy taking care of a quite sickly person last night. Dean did you get your HD? I'm pretty sure that was you I saw in the Jeep.

A1337STI 2006-03-18 12:40 PM

LoL maybe i could try driving down again to see it :P lmao although i think one snowy treck over 431 is good for the weekend. i was amazed that there was snow on the road , even on 395 until i was 1/2 into reno . gotta LOVE AWD ;) maybei should get AWDLOVE for a plate ... hmmm

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-05 10:10 AM

That movie was good.

GC8.Love 2006-04-05 10:45 AM

Whoops. I would have been down to see it a second time.

For some reason, I can't say it appropriately anymore. Every time, it comes out as "V For Vermicelli" O.o

Because Vermicelli sounds so much like vendetta... :?:

XActive 2006-04-05 12:45 PM

I wont be able to make it (although I think it would be a good movie). Have to head to Sac this weekend for the Big Kahuna Classic race.

Have fun!

sp00ln 2006-04-05 02:17 PM

You crash your STI into a tree?

XActive 2006-04-05 02:48 PM

Naw, I just parked it there for a little while (till the tow truck pulled it off).

A1337STI 2006-04-05 05:04 PM

I'm so glad i'm not the only person who forgets to check a date every now and then..

I only had the car for 2 weeks before this happened.

This was my brothers doing. I was riding passenger while he took the car for a test drive. He and I used to race, but he has never driven an all wheel drive car. We were sitting at the stop sign making a left hand turn onto the road you see in the second pic on the right hand side (comming from off the right side of the pic), and I said "Hey, try thisfor fun. Rev the car to 4K on the tach and dump the clutch." The end result was he over corrected for the slide and drove down into the tree. I was laughing the whole time! LOL.

cody 2006-04-06 02:24 PM

Oh noes!

XActive 2006-04-06 02:27 PM

Those of you at the Sat SCCA class saw the damage that was done. Just some minor crumpling of the left front fender. The only real damage was the rear lateral link that he tow truck tried to use as a tow hook. He did not realize that it was aluminum and broke it. $102.99 to replace.

It's a shame the tow driver didn't just use the tow hook that's 3 inches from the lateral link. I hope you didn't pay for that lateral link.
