So, I took like 400 pics, and I'm not posting them all for you fuckers ;) If you've got questions about something, post it up and I'll try my best, I'm on car overload :D I've got everything in 2048 as well, so if you want high res, I can do that too. Camera's not that great, and a bunch are blurry/clipped as I took them from a moving car, but there you go. From my buddie's place in Nashuninoya (I think, lol) Count the Subarus! http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2375.JPG Blitzen!!!! http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2388.JPG http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2407.JPG Honda museum at Motegi; this place was absolutely amazing. http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2476.JPG http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2492.JPG http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2512.JPG Dakar-winning bike: http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2555.JPG Good to know we're a positive influence.......arg. http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2576.JPG mmmmmmmm, E30 http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2590.JPG Drag racing at Motegi, but there's something a little different............. http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2611.JPG http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2627.JPG Our room is the 3rd window from the right on the top floor.........rough, eh? http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2635.JPG This is what I'd be driving........ http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2645.JPG It ran an 11.2 and absolutely spanked the american iron next to it. http://www.hooptywagon.com/img/japan06/DSCF2647.JPG Remember when I said it was a little different? Great pics!

I was watching that asimo video, it's still very creepy.
|
Good call, Tyson. That thing was hot, and running -2 camber all the way around, on PFF7's. Saw an Odyssey with 'em too, shit was hot. :D

I considered just getting an alignment since my tires only just barely rub, but I don't have adjustable camber bolts in the back. :(

As much as I'd like to help Aaron out with the cost of that tool, camber bolts are the right answer. |

Sperry, I'm not sure I want more than -1 in the back. I have two sources telling me that I'm running -1 in the rear: the original alignment sheet and my buddy who has nice alignment tools. The front was reported as -1.4 by the alignment shop and -1.1 by my friend. The passenger side rear tire only rubs when I take very hard left hand turns. I guess I could get some extra negative camber all around and true up everything. It has been 2 years since the "after-spring-install" alignmet. The stupid alignment shop ignored my instructions and installed the camber bolts in the front corners instead of the rear. |
The rest are up.

Now that is funny... those wheels look exactly like the 17x8 tri-bars that came stock on my 1995 Mustang. |
How'd you get the car? Was it your friends, or did you rent it?
|
Car was our friend's, actually was provided by his company. Honda Life FTW!

Well, take your time (of course). I used to be really interested in anthropomorphic robots, and I have a bunch of AIBOs.. but I guess it was just a passing interest. |

Cooool. Gotta love a robot that can balance and stabilize itself. Of course, it's easier (in a way) when it's not bipedal like an ASIMO or something else humanoid. =P
