Eh, it's not that bad. You might be able to get something for it from someone who wants a track car. Probably gonna be more time and effort on your part than it's worth though. Hell I'd take it off your hands but my parents would KILL me if I tried to leave that at there house until I graduated. I'll ask them though. lol

Why don't you put it next door in a storage unit, the Galant was there for a while.

Because that costs money and dumping it in front of my parents house is free. :p

Good to hear that you made it out safe man! Sucks about your car, but it gives you the chance to move up to bigger and better things.

Yeah I'm not so sure anyone around here needs a track car. I might be able to get some interest if I post a classified on a bigger site, but most everybody would be far away. I suppose it couldn't hurt though.

Thanks everybody for the kind words.

I need to find out if a yard can pick it up, and if they need it, uh rollable. I hope not because I kinda want my struts and springs and I don't have the stock ones...

When my parents had a house they rented out, one of our tenants left like 3 cars in the backyard. My dad just called the junkyard and they came and got them. I'm pretty sure they didn't all roll.

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-19 07:58 PM

Hmm, I hope so, I'll give them a holler.

Get your car into the street first that way they don't mess up your parents driveway by dragging a car out of it.

If it was a coupe, and if I had a house to store it at, you might have been able to talk me into buying it.

Chop that bitch in half! And then go buy a house, and then you're golden. Problem solved.

It's an inside joke from a forum whose logo is a grenade. If I explained it more, it wouldn't be an inside joke ;)

Don't make me argue with you over the internet!

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-20 11:23 AM

That was good enough. Grenade makes snowboarding/skiing apparel.

ScottyS 2006-04-20 05:31 PM

Ouch. Good to hear you're OK, and that the saga of replacing parts has come to an end....just be glad it was that car, and not your new one!
