On snap. The 245/45/17s don't rub (once I raised the Flex's up nearly an inch :p)

So, you're basically at stock ride hieght?

Nick Koan 2007-03-25 06:32 PM

More or less at the moment. I guess I need to get those 255/40 tires so I can lower the car a bit more :p

Here's a pic from before I had to raise it up.

If I "launched" (and I use that term lightly) from anything harder than a granny launch from a stop, I would rub in the back badly.

The wheel whore approves :D

MikeK 2007-03-25 08:38 PM

Hey, do I come over to your work place to photograph my car?

Somebody by the name of Chris (aka bruspeed) is playing his card close to his chest. Any word on the future champ of DSP?

If I understood what I heard at the meet last week, he's actually gonna be running an SM Camaro...

MPREZIV 2007-03-27 09:41 AM

OH, and my tires came in...

Now in the center ring.....MikeK vs. bruspeed!..

Nick Koan 2007-03-27 09:58 AM

Aw, I thought it was going to be an ESP Camaro.

Maybe he should just go straight to CP to compete with Lucas and two CP Mustangs.

Chris and his Father are gonna run it co-driver style!!! I should go take a look at it this weekend when I am down in G-ville.

Any pictures yet? I'm still attempting to squeeze a couple more pennies out of my back side for event two/three, so I can be on new rubber.

Anybody know who currently has the fender rolling tool?

MPREZIV 2007-04-03 03:18 PM

No pics yet... I'm lazy... I found a bad fender roller in my toolbox! A big ass rubber mallet! Works GREAT!!!! No tire rub!

sybir 2007-04-03 05:29 PM

Ummm, Josh does, down here, then I need it back real quick for my car. Then I can get it back up to Reno....

Thanks, figured I'd try the proper tool before going with the hammer.

M3n2c3 2007-04-03 05:58 PM

I'll have borla headers installed by the end of the week. . . :)

cody 2007-04-03 06:39 PM

^^^Nice Jeremiah!

I have the Crucial Springs in (they're sweet!) and the high flow catted mid-pipe should be here tomorrow. :)

M3n2c3 2007-04-03 08:08 PM

Yep, now I can make even more noise with a minimal hp gain. Long live n/a!

cody 2007-04-03 08:10 PM

I bet they add more power than the high flow cat I'm adding. I'm hoping to see a little better spool too though. :)

M3n2c3 2007-04-03 08:55 PM

I've been sort of eyeballing the Rallitek PerfectPower6 ECU. . . it looks like that with a tune and high flow cat might net me a fair gain, from the testimonies I've been reading. . .
