- Logging my friends cars and lying to them about the safety of their tune (tunes were checked by other reputable vendors)
You're not a snake "now", you've been one for some time.

I honestly didn't remember you being at that lunch with Paul, Rick and I, sorry about that... it was a couple years ago.
I stand by any comments or recommendations I ever made based on any logs. Tuners have very differing opinions of what's safe or dangerous and I like to be cautious especially when there is clearly knock present and/or a/f ratios are too lean. I was not just telling you this for my own gains as I actually had no interest in retuning any of these cars. I don't like to take liability for an engine that had been running a dangerous tune in the past. If you'll note, I also told some people their tunes were fine (from the same tuner). I never BS, I tell people straight up what I believe to be true. Others may have different opinions. BTW, I've never used the words "ticking time bomb". The Subaru ECU's are advanced enough to keep a motor running for quite some time even with a shitty tune.
Anyway... I know you have this opinion based on this crap from a couple years ago. That's perfectly fine by me... my business never depended on the Sacramento crowd. Even when I was tuning out of Davis the majority of my customers were coming in from the Bay Area. There is just no good reason for you to keep bringing this kind of stuff back and mucking up otherwise informative and useful threads.
On that note I will cease to post anything here that's not related to the original techincal discussion. I urge the moderator/owner to strip out this useless junk as the rest of the thread has some great info.
Thanks
