Have been doing a little research, it says the 02-05 have the same part number for the coil overs. Any info? I am very interested if they will fit.

'05 STi coilovers do not fit on any year WRXs. You'd need to do a front knuckle conversion, which in turn means doing the conversion to 5x114.3 hubs since they don't make 5x100 unit hubs that bolt to the STi knuckles.

You are absoulty correct!! Darn it, i was hoping the would just fit. Thank you for confirming.

cant you buy different lowers for the coils so they will mount up to the wrx knuckle/hubs?

That's what I did to convert my Tein Super Races to the STi hubs after I did the swap. But it would likely cost more than half what Phil's selling the coilovers for to get the lowers (cost me $500), and that's assuming the only thing different between the WRX and STi struts is the lower bracket. It's possible that the WRX lowers don't screw on to the STi struts on the Cuscos.

However, it's certainly not an impossible option. You just have to make sure it works and that the parts are available.
