If writing ZipLock on the outside of a piece of Tupperware magically turns it into a ZipLock bag, then yes, just change the extension.

It's actually not the best analogy. Dean just took the term "container" a little too literally. A better analogy would be, "If changing Dean's name to Jean makes him a woman, then yes, just change the extension."

LOL!

How am I reaching Dean? Please do tell since you're too busy rolling your eyes to answer my questions...oh wise one.

Dean 2009-04-02 03:45 PM

I answered your question back on post #18 "This moves them quickly and cleanly without trans-reencoding." and sort of again in #24.

You are reaching:

And they are literally digital containers for media streams... That is the correct technical term for a reason. The Ziplock analogy was extremely accurate for your change extension theory. It was a bit sarcastic, but accurate. Why would I give you an application if you could just batch change file extensions???

cody 2009-04-02 03:47 PM

Cuz you're old?

My dumbass friend put a blu ray movie in my xbox thinking it would work... then i left to take him home, and i came back and turned on my xbox to watch some netflix and 3 minutes into the movie, it freezes and a quick buzzing sound comes on. So i reset my xbox, and i have the 3 god damn rings of death... So as we speak now, i have it wrapped in a towel to melt some shit in there... I guess it's supposed to work... I just wanna finish watching my movie...

Do you have a warranty?

norbeaster 2009-04-04 10:16 AM

I've been using Watch TV Sicoms for awhile now to get showtime and HBO shows like Weeds and Entourage. They update it daily for new episodes and it seems pretty good for movies as well, loads quick and the quality is good. Only thing I noticed with it was that the volume varies a bit with episodes... but it is free!

Just the one that came with the xbox. But I wrapped it in towels last night, let it run for 20 min. and now I've been playing it for the past 4 hours. so it works good i guess..
