Once you have all your equipment brewing is pretty cheap. I've been focusing on american style pale ales and it costs around $25 a batch. Occasionaly I have to buy cleaners and maybe fill my co2 tank every few months but its cheap,$10 fillup.
At $25 a brew(5ish gallons) it comes out to something like $3 a six pack.
