Results are up already!
Looks like I hit a cone that I didn't know about on my last run Sunday. :(

Right you are Ken. It is pretty easy to post results on the web site when you already had to post them at the event...

Welcome to the lesson I learned at Atwater on my first Tour event. You must check the timing board for cones at a divisional/tour/national event. It ain't going to be on the timing slip if you even get one of those...

You still beat him for the weekend, but Mike gets you for Sunday.

The class links at the top of the "class and run detail" pages don't work.

Any idea when the season standings will be updated?

The imbeded bookmarks on the page are borked. I'll probably just delete them rather than fixing them. To many classes to fix...

Scott????

sperry 2005-06-27 02:12 PM

Season standings will be done as soon as I'm done calculating them. :P

By the way, it was cone #92 at station 2 which was very popular for folks who got late through the "walls of doom". It was the lead cone on the third wall that was parallel to the grandstands. I'm betting you probably tagged it with the right rear. Check for cone goo...

Pat R. 2005-06-27 06:41 PM

I'm guessing that the cone I hit was the last one in the first wall. I was a backsiding mofo this weekend and I may have turned in too early there. That damn cone cost me 4 season points.
My last run was my "Give 'er the Berries" run because I knew I had 2nd locked and I needed 1.5 seconds to catch the 117 car.
I need to take a crash course in shock tuning and find a way to get rid of the inside rear wheelspin that plagued me all weekend.

Nope, as I said, it was the first one in the third wall.

Pat R. 2005-06-27 06:52 PM

CONE #92, I DAMN THEE!!!

Adjusting the berries, I mean swaybar didn't help?

Pat R. 2005-06-27 08:35 PM

Nope. I guess the next step is to add a second bolt in one of the other holes and stiffen it up even more. Softening the rear shocks didn't seem to help either. :?:

Locker. :D

MikeK 2005-06-28 09:30 AM

Well, I had some "spare" time at work this morning, so I had a crack at season standings for the top 10 or so people. The women's results are all screwed up, so Debbie I am not sure where you stand. The season standings for the first 4 events have the women mixed in with the men, but the results for the last 4 individual events have them separated out

Here is what I get with 4 drops:

= 1 Mike M 66
= 1 Jim U 66
= 3 Lucas 63
= 3 Paul J 63
= 5 Mike K 59
= 5 Dave J 59
7 Dean B 52
= 8 Scott P 47
= 8 Bob W 47
10 John R 39 *
= 11 John R 36 *
= 11 Larry C 36

* I have no idea which is which, they are both just listed as John R in the divisional and Hawethorne results.

Hey Mike... since you've got som much spare time... wanna copy of the T&S software so you can calculate complete season standings for me!?

(j/k, I should have them done tonight or tomorrow at the latest)

I can have a go at it if you want. I don't mind doing it after each event. I'm nerdy like that. Here is proof:

Street tyre standings with 4 drops:

1 Paul J 84
2 Mike K 79
3 Scott P 69
4 Kyp J 60
5 Matt R 52
6 Kevin M 49
7 Joseph P 44
8 Eric B 42
...
= 17 Nick H 12
= 17 Mike H 12
19 Greg G 11

sperry 2005-06-28 10:27 AM

Dammit Mike! You've got 10 points on me already!? Luckily those are "unofficial" and I've still got time to doctor... er find the mistakes in your calculations. :P

Nick Koan 2005-06-28 10:29 AM

Fear my 12 points.

Dean 2005-06-28 01:17 PM

At this point in the season, I think you should only be using 2 drops... So, since you have spare time Mike, recalculate... heck, do them with 0-3 drops...

Carp! I shouldn't have looked! I just noticed I had a cone on my fastest run on Sunday too. (Not that that run was that much faster, but still.)

I just want to say THANK YOU!!! to all the guys who helped this weekend. MikeK, you are Awesome, for getting up at 0-dark-thirty in the morning to set up cones, staying late to take down cones, and in-between helping me get my wheels on & off. (What's the Australian word for Awesome? )
Tyson, Matt, thanks thanks thanks for coming out & helping with setup, take down; Gratitude for the guys who put up the shelter to sit under. Marissa was a lifesaver for getting lunch for me on Sunday. Dean as usual, you worked your a$$ off as well, not only on your own post, but the takedown & put-away too. And undying gratitude to Pat for co-chairing with me - I would've hated the job without you. Not sure I would be a chief of course again next year, but it was a great learning experience.

MikeK 2005-06-30 09:29 PM

Any time! (After 10 am :P )

With all the crap I had to get done before leaving for vacation, I didn't have time to crunch the season results, plus there are some issues w/ the Divisional results that need to get corrected first.

I hit awful traffic driving up the hill yesterday, and got back an hour later than I expected... which meant I missed the SCCA meeting.

I am working on results today at lunch.

I just discovered this in my collection ... Dean's slide where he almost hit the lion's club/light pole/bleachers

Dean 2005-08-04 10:28 PM

Missed it by a mile... [/shorts][new shorts]
