Yea, I want to buy a house, but in a couple years. We're thinking of moving up to washington in a few years... But who knows. that could all change.

If I had $250k to buy a house outright... I'd wait a little longer. IMO, we're only about halfway down this economic slide. I don't see home prices appreciating for another year or two, so there's no rush to buy ASAP unless you just happen to find the perfect house at the perfect price.
