I went ahead and ordered a MAF sensor and the air box top for an 08 WRX/STI. I need it for dimensional reasons and also flow testing against a new CAI for '08+.

I can drive my Cadillac, if that will help.

She came back with her "ex-cop", "9th degree black belt", "CCW", .38 snub-nose toting husband/boyfriend/whatever who told us some kids stole his wallet w/ $500 in it and his cell phone.

At least he bothered to get out of the car and talk to us, instead of just assuming we were the ones that stole his wallet and start shooting. Then again, I'm not sure you could hit anything from a car w/ a gun that's got a half-inch long barrel. Especially with the way that chick was driving.
