+1. I don't think the SECCS meet regulars that have been coming every Thursday night for the last 7 years are going to be all that keen on jumping ship because some dude from Vegas we've never met wants to meet at 8pm because that's how they do it in Vegas.

+1 While I enjoy In-N-Out, it is not a great place for a meet where people actually plan to sit and eat together and BS.

We have all seen each other's cars, so hanging out in the parking lot only lasts as long as we feel it should to see who shows up and dependent on weather and hunger.

Maybe what we do doesn't work for 40 cars and 60 people, but it is fine for the 5-10+ cars and 5-20 people we get on a weekly basis.

Plus, you would never be able to get 40 cars into In-N-Out's busy/crowded lot for a meet without getting hassled by the cops over loitering.

Tamarak would actually be a much better location for a 40 car meet... we'd just have a hard time eating dinner unless we ate in small groups... which is how you'd do it anyway since at a meet that large, everyone doesn't know each other.

I think it would be cool to set a date this summer to get everyone possible together and take a picture of all the SECCS cars.

You should have been around in 2002/2003. We had a few 20-30 car meets. Nearly all of them were bugeyes. :lol:

Yeah I was thinking that too. Plus in n out takes for fucks sake ever to get your food. It's whatever. Just posting up on here so you guys would know. for me there is no such thing as too many subaru clubs.

I'm enormous. 6'5", 275 I work out like 3 or 4 times a week and have been trying to cut back on soda and other bad shit though. Of course, that's been going on for like 10 years and I guess I've "plateau'd". :lol:

I'm obese according to my doctor but she just looks at BMI. I was like, "but check out the guns, Lady."

Edit: I don't really have guns, I'm fat. :lol:

Well it seems like ppl don't like the new ppl but owell. I just moved to northern Reno yesterday so tryin to catch up wit the subies out here. I was apart of the central valley I-clubbers. I got a 2003 Rex wrb in color. Name is David. Hope to see some of u around

It's just a front..everyone's rude behind their keyboard...most of the peeps on this board are very friendly. (Even MikeK). Welcome to Reno, which city did you move from?

Online we're cliquish and haze the new folks, but for the most part that doesn't translate in-person. New people are generally welcomed at meets (unless they show up looking for a street race :rolleyes: ).

'Course, I haven't been making the meets lately... maybe everyone at the meets are a-holes these days. :?:

I have a Nikon D80, and a Canon 30D with Speedflashes, Tripods, Remote Shutter Switches, and a few lenses here and there... I got into photography about a year before I found autocross.. :lol:

Ooh nice. I bought mine for about $20 for the Nikon, and $35 for the Canon. Since I use the Nikon much more, and I really like to take prolonged exposure pics, I use them about every other day I go shooting. They are also really nice for the rare occasion that you take group photos. Haha.

ebay, should be under $10... Assuming you need a USB one like my Fuji. If it has a threaded shutter button, a classic cable or air one will work and they are even cheaper.
