I will be going to Bijoux(South Lake) Park to play Disc Golf. Disc Golf is what I did before Autocross took over my summers!

I invite anyone to come with me. I can give you basic instruction on throwing Discs and show you around the course.

I will have plenty of Discs to lend out to everyone so all you have to do is tag along and have FUN!

Sounds cool, but there was also talk about hitting up Carson on the way back to check out the go kart races... but, since I need the exercise, you might be able to twist my arm into a little disc tossin! What we really should do is put together a game of ultimate frisbee... now *that's* some exercise!

Well we can cut it short and do 9 holes which is cool with me, depending on the number of people it will only take about an hour.

I was running late this morning and missed you guys at breakfast. I ended up not making it due to my brothers and his friends graduation's.

What a beautiful day for a drive around the lake. First we stopped at Zephyr Cove, and found out Matt's odometer was over a mile out of synch. Then we made our way thru South Shore and on to Camp Richardson, where a Rennaissance Faire was being held, and lots of medieval-looking people were wandering around. After that we had a slow ride up around Emerald Bay, dodging bike riders & cars slowing to a crawl in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. On the other side of Emerald Bay the road opened up with no traffic for us for a little while, and that was some very nice driving. The 3rd stop was at Meeks Bay, where we also took advantage of the lake background for a photo op. Lastly we stopped at Garwoods, shortly after Tahoe City. Then it was back to Incline Village, past the big biker rally @ The Biltmore and coming to a rest at the Ponderosa Ranch for lunch and waiting for determination of prizes.

w00t... thanks for coming up! You and the rest of the Sac crew need to make the trip up more often now that the weather's nice up here! In fact, pretty soon it'll be god-awful hot in Sacramento... and while it's hot up here too, at least it 's not as muggy and it cools down at night!

Tire diameter. Everybody talks about the effect of tire diamter on speedometers, but overlooks that the exact same wheel-speed signal drives the odometer. Beware buying a used "low-mileage" 4x4 with a lift kit and gigantor tires. ;)
