Bill was the old school tuner back in the day. I remember back when him and I-Speed started, they were soooo cool. I've met him and his a super nice guy with an awesome car. But, like Aaron said nothing to do with S-S and lives in So Cal now. Having been involved in Subaru clubs for far too long (since '99, yikes) I've seen plenty of crappy shops and tuners and I can't imagine you'd be unhappy with a tune done by Nate, and if for some reason you where I have no doubt they'd do everything they could to make you happy. I never hesitate to take my car there.

I saw that original post and good thing you edited, because I was gonna take issue with that. :p

Thanks for clearing that up Aaron. I know we're not supposed to talk about it here, but I gotta give SS props for being so mature and upright during that whole fiasco. Like other's have said, Ed may be a great tuner, but I don't want to deal with anyone that unprofessional.

Heh, I saw that too. Diplomacy seems to be one of Aaron's strong points. :)

Yup, Bill has never been anything but cool to me. My original post came out a little different than I was intending, mainly because I was trying to emphasize that Nate's been the only person that's built his own rep; no other tuners were involved.

I appreciate everyone on this side of the Sierras calmly investigating evidence and coming to your own decisions, the signal:noise is getting ridiculous n the SRIC :D

Late to the latest part of this thread, but basically the only good reason not to go to Gruppe-S is that Nate is an hour closer. :) Both will do right by your car.
