Oh snap, I thought it was the end of the month for some reason, nevermind. I may make the trip this weekend then.

They aren't open on weekends. M-F only, and only until 4:30 PM if their hours are still the same.

Yeah, shoot. I hope I'm ready and that they will have them in-house, thanks for offering, juice. I might not be ready for a couple weeks though.

I will bump this when I am planning on going out there. Probably in a few weeks though.

Sweet. Maybe we can get something together.

I have 4 used BFG Traction T/A 225-60R16 for sale 150 bucks for the set, have lots of tread left. I had them on an 05 Baja I used to own. They are the most awesome tires. Towed a small trailer over 88 in the pouring snow....never even wiggled. Chris followed me over in the snow and said the rooster tails off those tires were about 15 feet high, and he had to back way off from behind me. I totally recommend these tires, they had the closest tread pattern to a blizzack without being a snow tire. Louie 292-0519)http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires...ta_t_ci1_s.jpg

I had a really, really good experience with with BFG all seasons. They were only Traction Tourings, too!

I took these through that insane winter 3 years ago (back east, but I hear Reno got it, too). Feet and feet of snow, ice, slush. They were great, at probably 70% tread or just less. Only thing is, I believe they wear unevenly (serious).

I like the 'kooks I have now, but for All Seasons, I wish to everything I would have gone with my gut and got some Traction T/As instead of the Kumho ASXs..

Oh, and holy crap, I just heard from an ABF driver (has an '01 RS) that he was able to get Hakkas through Les Schwab at a decent price...

I wonder how decent "decent" means..?

I use dedicated snows (blizzaks) here in the sacramento area. RE070s during the summer. Usually switch when temps stay near or below 60F.

Does it ever snow in Sacto? Or do you travel through the mountains a lot?

no snow here. Just better in the rain and I do go over the hill once in a while.
