No need to apologize, I wish more people would buy Evo's. I really like them too. I think they are a good deal ( in most cases :? ), and they are extremely easy to build into a super car. Besides, everyone that buys an STI becomes a grumpy elitist like me and Mike 8) and thats no way to be, we want to be special...BUY AN EVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
is 1500 for rims crazy overpriced?
whats the spending limit on rims before you look lame? Eventually my SSR wheels will be dedicated race wheels, so the lightness I payed for them will be more worth it to me then. Everyone notices the SUV's rolling on 20's nowadays I mean like every other Explorer and Denali and (insert lame name here )has a set of $3,000 rims. It makes the import scene look like flea market rim shoppin. Edit: You guys do a lot of posting during the day. don't you have to work. |

However, they stripped a lot out of that car... like A/C... unless I was buying it specifically for a race conversion, then it's not worth it. In fact, I could buy an older, lighter EVO from overseas for cheaper and have a better race car when all is said and done, right? That said, it's still a sick car, people are thinking it'll be an AS autocross killer... hehe, sorry Matt! I'm glad we're getting these more race specific models in the States, a lot of people are speculating Subaru might follow suit with a real deal STi Type RA Spec C, instead of the half breed Spec C that we got. Personally, I wouldn't want a Spec C myself, but it'd be cool if it were an option! |
