The guy goes " You Know Sergio?"

We had a great time, took I-5 to Red Bluff cut across 36 to 89 and hit Feather River Canyon...even on vacation I hit the twisties...all the way down to South Lake and hwy 50. Even went out to Placerville for an In-N-Out Burger, nice drive through the mountains up above Tahoe airport and stuff.

I saw a modded 2002 or 03 WRB sedan w/ fmic and aftermkt. headlights out that way on the return to Lake Tahoe.

Well I'll keep in touch with you guys, and mabye next time when I head down we can get together, I come down about 2 times a year to see g/fs family.

...and thanks for the kind words about the PDX site and the abilities of some of the more advanced members of it.

drive happy

Steve

I totally dig it... it's fitting for the car, plus I'm a huge Top Gun fan, and that was my squadron when I went to Space Camp... ;)

tysonK 2003-12-02 09:32 PM

whoa!

Now I know someone who went to space camp.

MattR 2003-12-02 10:20 PM

I was gonna go to Space Camp but I broke my leg instead. ( I believe I remember your space camp stories Scott, very cool)

Why Scott no astronaut? hahaha.

AtomicLabMonkey 2003-12-02 10:40 PM

Ok now Laura just read these last few posts and wants to hear Scott's Space Camp stories (GD I've heard those stories a thousand times.. but it's still pretty cool  ) next time we hang out.

MattR 2003-12-02 10:49 PM

Make him tell you the "flute" story...it starts out...

" This one time, at Space Camp.."

BOO 2003-12-02 10:55 PM

OK now I too want to hear your stories... lol

sperry 2003-12-03 01:16 AM

Chirst... there are Space Camp stories, but they'd really only be entertaining if we were all still in Junior High.

And FTR, I didn't do "Space Camp" like you've seen in the movie, I did "Aviation Challenge: Mach II": http://www.spacecamp.com/spacecamp/r...=aviationindex

It was basically Boy Scouts meets a Flight Simulator... so yeah, I was in 8th grader heaven for a whole 5 days. We made fun of all the Space Camp kids... cuz we got to do better stuff like ride zip-lines and screw around in the SAC B-52 simulator. And then, since our councellor was cool, we snuck into the Space Camp facility and did all their stuff too. :P
