Wow, a dumbfuck withouth reading comprehension. You've got the whole package going there, eh? "your untuned timebomb on stock suspension and brakes" is referring to the built motor, old turbo, headers, exhaust, and injectors, presumably without a tune, unless you blew up the last motor and you rebuilt this one ot handle more boost. I'm not sure what a timebomb suspension would be..... Sperry is most definitely not on stock suspension; I'm not sure where you'd get that particular idea. Handbuilt housings, Koni inserts, and height-adjustable 2.5" ERS springs, and a lot of development time in spring rates, sway bars, etc. I'd ask if you wanted to put your foot in your mouth, but you'd have to remove your head from your ass first. I'm not losing my breath, nor am I "typing up a storm." Apparently, a verbal rebuttal of your hackneyed arguments is too concise if we respond quickly, and too verbose if we pick apart your feeble witticisms. I'd ban you, but it's much more entertainment to point and laugh at the dumb kids. |

And holy crap you suck at the internet. My car isn't for fat chicks, it's just gay. I know it hurts, but do try to stop and think for a few seconds before you spout off in a reply. We might not have quite so much pity on you if you could at least say something funny in your flame attempts. |

VF30, pinks, and a fuelpump, TBE, and uppipe are good for about 250hp on any real dyno. What other "supporting mods" do you have? Don't try to tell me headers are getting you there on a 2.0 ;) A bone stock STi with a tune will whomp that car. Let me know how your acceleration times work out after a few clutch dumps, eh? |

Once you can distinguish between reading comprehension and being a pedant about typing on a forum, talk to me. Tell me, honestly. Are you really this stupid, or are you just bored and playing games? I hope for your sake you have an excuse. |
Don't Miata's tear up teh autocross?

I was about to get excited about the 7 minutes since fanboi's last post thinking maybe he was coming up with something both clever and relevant to whatever reponse he chooses to quote... but then I noticed he last posted at 4:20. So I'll just take care of the next response for him.

SupraRexer, how much torque does your "beast" of a 2.0L put down at the wheels? If it's under 300ft/lbs on a Mustang dyno, then no, it's not faster than a mechanically stock, tuned STi.
There really is no replacement for displacement. But you are right about one thing... my SVX is on stock suspension. |
Okay, I just caught up on this thread, and I must say I'm really disappointed. SupraRexer didn't do anything wrong, you guys are just mean. I ashamed to be a part of this board. You guys said the same shit to me when I put my sweet body kit on my wagon, It hurts you know, just because you don't like someone's style doesn;t mean you should tear them apart. I like your car Supradrifterpersonrexer.

Allow me to jump back in on this.
First I’d like to thank everyone for backing me up, you all rock! SupraRexer, you assume that because I drive an 86 I am a drifter; I assure you I am not a drifter. However I do know how to "drift", I started doing touge racing when I was 16 shortly after I bought my first car which was an 88 FC3S (RX7), and drifting was a technique I used. I was quite good at it as well, I put 55,000 miles on that car in the 2 years I had it, without ever leaving the area. I am on my third 86, I had planned on using it as a daily driver but with you being such a bad ass, it makes me want to build a drift car simply to KICK YOUR ASS! I frequently drive a 97 twin turbo Supra, a friend of mine has one that is also an automatic, and I must say that it is incredibly slow off the line. The lag is the worst of any turbo car I’ve ever driven, not to mention the fact that its a tank, and handles like a tuna boat. You, and everyone who considers themselves a drifter are "ricers". The United States form of drift racing, or the D1, is judged on how sideways you get, and how much smoke your tires make, right? Style over speed, form over function! Is that not the ricer decree? Surly you must realize that drifting is nothing more than a way of showing off. It is not meant to develop any speed. If you want me to prove this theory to you, get in your best drift car, and I’ll get in my 88 FX-16, with a silver top 20 valve, and stock suspension, and we'll go out to the track, and have a good time. |
