He said it mentions it, but I can't read it either. The scoop delete on his car was the 1st or 2nd one I sold.

I sat in front of my computer yelling "Enhance" until I found this.

I read, "... the KS Technology scoop delete.... " but that's about all I can read.

02/03 Scoop Deletes with unfinished frames (and powder coated mesh) ship on Wednesday! Powder-coated black frames go to the coater today and should be 1-2 weeks.

+1. In person it's nicer than factory parts. Very good fit, really high quality fit and finish (all stainless hardware for pete's sake!).

'Course, it's gonna fit really well on my hood since that's what it was prototyped on, hopefully the tolerances aren't big on Subaru's assembly line, but judging by the '04 hoods, things will be fine.

The '06/'07 is done... finally!

Before flaming... realize this was just for test fitment on a TMIC car. The flushness was really hard on this one, but I'd say it was worked out pretty well. :D

You're getting kinda good at this stuff Matt.

Beautiful.

sybir 2008-04-12 09:07 AM

If I didn't have to deal with Sac summer, I'd seriously consider trying a fan setup to run this...

Some pics of the new Louvered Undertray...

sperry 2009-10-27 08:41 AM

I'm not sure I like it personally, but it is kinda tough looking. Maybe with the surround color matched to the car I'd like it more.

A1337STI 2009-10-28 09:29 PM

If you are running a front mount i like it a lot. finally someone who went front mount and ditched the top scoop.

but as a rally guy i don't like front mounts... :)

I don't know why, but that sorta grosses me out... Hot grease dripping on the intercooler? That'll really up the resale value!

MikeK 2011-02-04 04:16 PM

Who ate the snack machine chicken wings that were cooked on an intercooler? Was that bob?

Nick Koan 2011-02-04 04:19 PM

Yeah, that was bob, off of my intercooler.

That was $1 well spent

Those things were so loaded with sodium, that an hour later he remarked "Even this water tastes like those salty hot wings"

MPREZIV 2011-02-04 07:20 PM

That was f*ing hilarious. The best part was his complaints about them "destroying" his insides on the drive home.

It is worth noting that the Hood Vent frames are ultra-mega-precision-CNC machined from billet weapons-grade 6061 aluminum using mil.-spec. tooling. No Burmese soda cans were harmed in the making of this product.
