I was completely thrown by the map on page 1, and completely thought Woody's was somewhere else. Little did I know I grab lunch next door once a week or so at Subway :)

I seriously was saying where the hell is Woody's???? The map on page one of this thread is all sorts of not correct (in my weird, not-at-all-understanding-what-I'm-looking-at eyes), but I clicked on an address somewhere on that page. Pulled up a Google map, saw "Eternal Boardshop" as a Google place across McCarren from the callout and said "oh yeah, that's Woodys" :D :facepalm:

What's wrong with the map on the first page? It points almost exactly to the right spot.

I'm thinking about it. I've got a bunch of weeding and lawn mowing to do before the weekend (my parents are visiting or I'd just do it then)... but if people are coming out for the meet I'll try to show up. It's been months I think since the last time I went!

I've gotta go look at a pickup truck for Lisa's step dad. But pending how long that takes, Lisa and I may try to come by the meet tonight.

So, didn't make the meet, or buy a truck.

Get this: we test drove the truck, and it's got one of those silly digital voice memo things built into the sun visor. Hit play on it and heard this message:

"Hey Kim, it's June 27th, and we're about to go jump your truck!! So uh, if you're hearing this and the truck's not wrecked, then um good news! ...LOVE YOU!"

So, after hemming and hawing over all the cosmetic damage on the truck, that message sealed the deal on us walking away. :lol:
