Here is another pic of Jager doing what he does best. Sorry, its a cell pic.

My backyard pet.

Thread necromancy!

We got a puppy this weekend. Her name is Mal and she's part Lab and part Catahoula.

And here is our cat Gizmo being cautiously optimistic about the puppy.

Is that a pirate dog? I just figured with the eye patch, missing leg, and the peeing wherever it wants... sounds like a pirate.

Dean 2009-03-16 08:18 AM

You should name her after one of the more well known female pirates... http://www.katyberry.com/Dorianne/pirates.html

This link is blocked. "Adult Content" is filtered.

And we've already given her a name. Her name is Mal.

French for "bad"? You can't call your dog w/o calling her a bad dog?

Nick Koan 2009-03-16 08:44 AM

Sssh... She doesn't know French yet. Or Spanish.

Actually its short for Malachi, or Mallory (as its turning out).

What a cutie!!

Cute dog and all but, that cat is bad ass. It looks just like my old cat boobookitty who was either catnapped or eaten when we moved into the new place.

I don't think that I ever posted pictures up of our dog that we adopted last summer, so here he is.

This is Maxwell and he's a great dane. He's a little guy thought only 29" at the shoulder.
His ears are the best. They are the emotional equivalent to a bushy eyebrows, so expressive. He loves fetch and the couch.
He's pretty much the best thing ever.

Here's a photo with some scale. I had him jump in the tub and wait while I took a picture.

Yeah, giz is awesome. About 10 months old, and super friendly (albeit a little shy at first). Hopefully the new dog doesn't change her up too much.

Here is our puppy Ruby we adopted in December,

thinking I'm going to give her some of my pasta and fish a few minutes ago
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...IMG_0396-1.jpg

And after she actually had some of my pasta that fell out of my mouth when I was telling her to go lay down

My dog sleeps all day and won't play fetch :(

I had a cat that played fetch with a water bottle cap. I also taught him kitty boxing and he lost a tooth.

 Here's our little mop/vacuum. She's pretty cool for a little dog. She's super social with other dogs (and people once she meets them).

tysonK 2009-03-17 01:15 PM

dude cody that bottom picture is priceless.

cody 2009-03-17 01:21 PM

Ha, yah, she's a low rider and loves playing outside so she needs lots of baths. She always looks at me like, "Why are you doing this, Dad?" :(

Just? That pic was taken almost 6 months ago according to the metadata.
