My pal Xbox360 and I are going to enjoy some Crackdown tonight, and perhaps some Jack.

Ouch. I haven't really had a problem with leveling, but I usually pick more combat skills to fill up my primaries, due to the way I tend to play. IIRC, I went with Blade, Athletics, Light Armor, Stealth, and Marksmanship.

As far as the story goes, I enjoyed it, but I did like Knights of the Nine better than the main quest. I suppose that says something. :lol:

I really want to play that, I'm coming over tommorrow.

I just downloaded SimBin's "Race" (WTCC Simulator) off Steam. It's cool, but seems to lack polish compared to their other offerings... I can't put my finger on it, but something's just kinda meh about it. Not very many cars, nor tracks. But at least the driving is fun and the framerate is great even on my old-ish system. If the online is stable, then it may have some redeeming value... plus it's got Mini Cup cars that are a blast to toss around.

It's amazing. I really thought more would have been different from the demo, but it's almost the same. And just as bad ass. But yeah give me a holler.

I have to disagree, I was not impressed with Crackdown. It just doesn't feel next gen, I played it for maybe 1/2 an hour, and I don't feel the need to ever play it again.

I played the F1 PS3 demo this weekend. It looks good, but it's nothin special. No damage which is lame, but maybe that's just the demo. Motorstorm is freakin awesome. It's really the only game so far that makes me want a PS.

Yeah, I heard the physics weren't all that great in the F1 game.

Plus its all the 06 cars. Who wants that? :p

The demo movie certainly showed damage... like explosive carbon fiber everywhere type damage.

Ok, well that gives me hope that the main game will have it. I went head first into the pit wall at like 200 and I did a Gran Turismo.

^^^Fixed that. I'm kinda bummed two of my friends and I beat God of War II last night. It was epic but now I have to wait a year or two for the Third and final one to come out.

We beat it on the hardest level available, but we unlocked Titan mode difficulty...and on God of War I it took us about 3 months to beat it on that level...lol...

A co-worker of mine is can't shut up about God of War 2. I think I may have to give it a go here in a bit.

Yea it came out 2 days ago, well my two friends bought it Tuesday night and played for about an hour or 2, i was studying for a chem test. Then yesterday when i got home at 2 they were playing and we just kept switching off playing, and at about 10 we were watching the final credits.

We were all kinda surprised that we beat it and amazed at that we were actually sitting there for so long. I usually cant sit and play a game for more that an hour or two. But it was pretty epic, it looks great and the story is really strong. I think we got through it so quick because we beat God of War I on God Mode like a month ago so we familiar with the controls and used to the difficulty so it was realatively easy.

I picked up motorstorm last night. It's just like the demo.

I was hoping they fixed the unbelievable load times when picking a vehicle or changing it's color scheme. They didn't. This might have been better if they had an option to install to the HD.

The online stuff seemed like an afterthought. Ridge Racer 7 still seems like the best integration of online stuff even when not 'online'.

Anyway the AI is pretty aggressive at getting even with you so you do fair better to leave them alone.

Still a good game once your are playing.

Crack down is kinda fun, my buddy has that.

i bought NFS carbon 2 days ago. beat it. its fun if you want an unrealistic i can drive in 'free roam mode' game. i wish some one would come out with a game with GT4 type realism (and number of cars) but maybe in the NFS free roam format. i like the drive to the event feel of it.

Kinda harsh that i finally got (sorta) used to GTR2 and then hopped to NFS . but eh, that's me.

If it had the smaller die chips or the HD-DVD drive built in, I think I'd do it. For now, though, I'm still going to be waiting.

I don't think the HD-DVD will ever be built in. Those drives are still friggen bank to produce. By the time they're affordable enough to be standard equipment in the machine, the XBox720 will be out.

True, on Blu-Ray might win too. In fact, a MS exec was quoted saying that if Blu-Ray does win in this generation, they'll probably produce an external drive for the 360.

Still, I just needed a little something more for that price. I don't know what, but something more than just the humongo hard drive and an HDMI port.

It's not much more expensive than the premium XB360, is it? Hell, it comes with an HDMI cable... that's $100 right there if you're dumb enough to buy your cables from Best Buy.

They announced it a long time ago. One other thing that it has that Scott didn't mention is it will have IPTV something or other which is like a Tivo type dealy.

Alright, well not to nitpick, but it was in last months Game Informer. Maybe not the "official" press release, but it definately was a confirmation on it's release.

For a new Xbox and it supposedly being "elite," it's seriously lacking the goods.

Yeah, its been a lot of places since the beginning of the year (most likely intentionally leaked) but the official release wasn't till a few days ago. And the real specs weren't available till the official release. Everyone knew it was coming out, it was just a question of when, how much and with what extras.

Man am I glad I bought Guitar Hero. Only now I have to wait to see which and how many songs they will release for download (none so far).
