ok... I guess we'll make it official. GC8 Imprezza Rally car on Swiss Alps normal and all the standard rules apply. Have fun in the dirt pretty boys! :D

BTW, since this track is really wide, try to stay away from the walls ;)

So just to clarify, a lap is null and void if there's any wall contact at all?

Nah.. I won't be that hard on you guys... You can bump the wall, just don't slam into them sideways and go on your way. I don't think that'll get you a fast lap anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

BTW, I got a 1'29.6xx but my roommate re-started the game before I had a chance to save the replay, so its not official. I think I can beat that time though.

Not a bad time! Try to smooth out your lines and really control your entry speed and you should be able to get bellow 1'30.xxx. Is anyone else even trying this challenge??

I'm using the DS and I'm flying all over the place! Its impossible to smooth out the line with the DS :p

I never ran a single lap... too busy w/ the real car to spend time on a track I can't stand. :P

Plus I grabbed a copy of Tourist Trophy. It's pretty cool, but they don't even give you an option to use a wheel! :mad: Even though it would be pretty unrealistic, at least it would give you some smooth inputs.

Do they make handlebars for the PS2?

I don't think so. I vaguely remember some being made back in the day for PC, but it was pretty cost prohibitive for most people.
