Grid is pretty damn fun, I have been playing for a few days on 360 and its been a blast.

sperry 2008-12-30 02:35 AM

I finally hooked up my PC since I moved back in Feb.

Fallout 3 is awesome! I just wish I could play it at the native resolution of my flat panel...

JonnydaJibba 2008-12-30 09:18 PM

I think I got bored with Fallout. I haven't played it in a couple months. I'm so disappointed in myself. Meh... not really.

Well, I'm really enjoying it. It 1000 times better than Bioshock. I played Bioshock about 4 hours and have zero desire to ever play it again.

Its funny that I feel opposite of you. They are both great games but I think bioshock is more fun. I've played through it 3 times.

100_Percent_Juice 2008-12-31 10:05 AM

Bioshock was a freaking awesome game. I am waiting for Bioshock 2.

YES INDEED, SIR

I've played through Bioshock thrice already - twice on 360 and once on ps3.

cody 2008-12-31 01:20 PM

I need to try Bioshock again on a harder setting and use the wrench way more often.

Nick Koan 2008-12-31 01:22 PM

I still have to finish Bioshock, but the Steam sale has me eyeing a cheap(ish) copy of Far Cry 2.

WRX06TR 2008-12-31 01:32 PM

I love Bioshock, beat it twice on 360. Had to harvest the little sisters once and save them once...lol...

100_Percent_Juice 2008-12-31 02:41 PM

I still have to play through it and harvest them. I imagine the ending must be totally different.

I felt the same way about Bioshock, I just couldn't get into it.

Very very different. One is cool and the other sucks lol

100_Percent_Juice 2008-12-31 05:18 PM

Someone let me rent bioshock from them so I can play it again!

100_Percent_Juice 2008-12-31 05:47 PM

Nevermind. Steam is selling it for $5.

I owned it for a couple weeks. It's pretty fun for a bit. Huge map is cool, exploring for diamonds is cool, being able to take out base camps and complete missions multiple ways is cool, semi rpg elements are cool, draw distance is amazing!, graphics are good, wind effects are great, starting fires is great fun, gunfights are way cool, run on sentances are cool. But the map is almost too big because you have to go to every place to get a mission and every mission yourself. It becomes so tedious. There is no warping or jumping. There are 4 bus stops, but they barely help. The only problem I had really was having to drive (or walk if you are unfortunate enough to lose a vehicle) everywhere. It got annoying driving half the time. I'd say it's worth about $30 and I give it a 7.5.

Nick Koan 2009-01-02 11:23 PM

Yeah, I picked it up during the Steam sale for $37. I like the large world feeling of it so far. I've only just exited the "tutorial" portion.

JonnydaJibba 2009-01-03 12:07 AM

I bet it looks good on your comp.

ScottyS 2009-01-03 03:07 PM

I played Moto Storm (?) Pacific Rift on my brother's game console, definitely an awesome 2-player game if you like ridiculous smashing around in off-road vehicles (that blow up if you use the boost too much)! I couldn't make my mind up between the Mining Haul Truck or the Triceratops Monster Truck, lol.

argh!!! I don't even think my PC is fast enough to run this keyboard!!

*runs*

^Does it have a flesh light built into it?

I know some weren't crazy about it, but I was really looking fwd to getting GTA IV for PC until I read some of the reviews. Sucks because my laptop meets the minimum (and almost the recommended) except that my processor is an Athlon X2 64 1.7ghz and unfortunately, some games overheat the CPU which causes it to run at 800mhz, though the cooling pad and new Nvidia Beta Notebook drivers have helped a lot...but DIRT still won't play at a decent frame rate...I may buy GTA IV from Amazon and try to return it if it doesn't work.

GTA 4 Recommended System Requirements

Just buy it at walmart and if it doesn't work have your wife take it back and say "I bought this for my husband and said it doesn't work on his mac. Whatever that means"

Problem solved. Speaking as someone who played through the game, I really wouldn't go crazy over it. It gets old after a time just like the others.

JonnydaJibba 2009-01-07 10:23 AM

San Andreas was a bigger game sadly.

cody 2009-01-07 10:51 AM

Ah well, a copy of Orange Box should be here momentarily via UPS. That should keep me busy for a while. I'll try GTAIV when it gets cheaper.

Why not just download over steam? :?:
