Who, when and where will a replacement event for Squaw be finallized? Additionally, are we looking at points or a non-points event? Thanks for any information you can provide. I'll have to ask for the days off for the October schedule. The clock is ticking (on the schedule being finished and on my points lead).

I think we should know some time this week. I know they want to get it set up as early as possible to alert as many people as possible.

The make up event will likely be on Oct 20-21. I'll get official word from the Airport tomorrow.

That was Karlton (son) and Don (dad) up from SFR; they were tuning to prep for the Packwood NT in a couple of weeks. Good guys.

Yeah they were pretty nice. I talked with them for a little bit about street tires and what not.

And I also gave them a hard time for running Bridgestone Tires and Yokohama stickers :lol:

I had fun on Sat. The end of the course was hell and being on RE92s didnt help either. But I still had a great time. Hopefully next year I will be able to get onto some nicer tires and maybe some suspension upgrades...maybe someday I will actually be on a competative level with you guys...:lol:

I had fun, didn't really like the course too much though. I liked parts of it, not all of it. Maybe cuz I couldn't figure it out.

OK, Official word is NO. Due to a scheduling conflict with the Sacramento Enduro, we will not be adding a make up event.

I don't consider that a conflict. Besides, I reserved that date back in February before SFR solo OR rally-x knew what they were doing. So they can plan around us.

Both. Plus there are lamp posts in the middle of the course.

You can make safe courses there, but I wouldn't drive 3 hours to drive on one, on that surface.

Rolled over laughing with Joy :) event went well, no injuries, one guy popped a bead on a tire. The course was really really long. the fastest time of the day was a 1:47 In a Dirt prepped STI on rally tires. Tein coil overs (think he said something about gravel spec? or maybe thats what his springs are)

Yep, as well as tarmac stuff, TEIN makes "gravel specific" suspension.

I wish i had a complete gravel spec car, in addition to my current car.
