GusGus91 2009-10-12 09:28 PM

Saw Joel's car at walmart around 9 tonight, next to an sti and evo.

A1337STI 2009-10-14 09:08 PM

My car sounds mean cause i have an exhaust leak, or i usually do. and its really just running on 3.5 cyls

i got asked at a rally if i was on Race Gas... lolz

Think i saw Keven W on 431 a while back

100_Percent_Juice 2009-10-17 08:50 PM

Spotted Khail at wingstop around lunch time.

marleyjb 2009-10-17 09:12 PM

I can't stalk you if you see me first.

ScottyS 2009-10-21 02:21 PM

Just saw NixWrx in front of UNR, recognize that hair anywhere. Whatever you got for intake/exhaust sounds just right at idle - 2400rpm shift. Nice.

WRX06TR 2009-10-21 04:39 PM

Haha, yeah I need a new style lol. Thanks tho, I'm glad the car is a lot quieter than it used to be. It's a Titek catless downpipe to Blitz Nur Spec RX catback. And for intake all I have is the silencer delete. Thanks for the compliment!

dayofpain 2009-10-21 05:12 PM

sighted!

a girl in a newer blue wrx or ts? she was staring hard at my new wheels on the bmw, since all girls hate me figured it was a wife of someone on here that recognized me. also saw a sexy all gunmetal grey sti 07-08 with partial subaru kit and matching gunmetal rims. very sexy was very evo'ish but i didnt recognize it from the race crowd.

Nick who? There are 4 of them. :P

100_Percent_Juice 2009-11-04 11:05 AM

Sperrbear, only 1 of them drives a blacked out Subaru.

Define "blacked out", because 3 of the 4 Nicks have tinted Subarus.

Probably me...I was either headed home from work, or headed to my gf's for dinner, I can't remember

A tinted subaru? To have a car that is blacked out implies that the car is also black.

O'rly?

So you've never heard of the term "blackout tint", aka "limo tint", aka "5% tint", etc?

Jeikun 2009-11-04 02:03 PM

I apologize for the confusion. It was a black, dark tinted Subaru.

And it probably was Nick P.

Edit: 200th post!

Nick Koan 2009-11-04 02:04 PM

I'm also blacked out

from the waist down

sybir 2009-11-04 02:46 PM

Oh, I must have misread the part where he said that it was a blackout tint subaru.

WRX06TR 2009-11-04 07:46 PM

I saw Kevin in his RS on Mccarren around noon, didn't realize who it was at first lol

sperry 2009-11-05 10:33 AM

Yesterday I saw a pickup truck with the bumper sticker "If I wanted to listen to your shitty music, I'd come sit in your car".

His windows were down and "Disco Inferno" was blasting.

Seriously... I can't make this shit up. I tried to get next to him at a light to discuss the irony of his bumper sticker, but the bastard had a green light in his turn lane and I was going straight.

Kevin M 2009-11-05 12:01 PM

America, fuck yeah.

I don't know if I would be angry or amused. I think that hypocrisy like that is just funny most of the time.

cody 2009-12-01 12:06 PM

This Porsche is parked across the street. Just took this with my phone through the window of my office.

Get off your ass and go check it out. I'd say to put a SCCA schedule on it, but we never made any for 2009 and none yet for 2010.

cody 2009-12-01 12:18 PM

That would be cool to have some SCCA schedules to put on sweet cars I see around town.

Motoring 2009-12-01 01:07 PM

Nice!!!

Am I the only one not seeing a picture? You hosting it on dropbox or something?

I saw it when I was at home, but for some reason IGT decided to block t-mobilepics.com or whatever.

Its one of these [attached] but imagine the picture being much smaller and more grainy.

Speaking of which, I saw a Porsche Panamera the other weekend in Galena. It looks about a hundred times better in person than any picture makes it look.

So the Panamera is only the 2nd ugliest Porsche ever made. Got it.

Nick Koan 2009-12-01 01:55 PM

Exactly. Not exactly a beauty, but not nearly as bad as every picture of it ever.

BOO 2009-12-09 10:51 AM

Saw/met WRX06TR Downtown around noon yesterday, then I Saw Juice yesterday around 12:30p while getting onto the 80E North Virginia/Center on ramp heading East.

Around 3pm on 80E I saw a wrx wagon with a Flat4 decal on the back window.

Dean 2009-12-09 06:38 PM

Help. I am trying to find video of that amazingly long right hand rally drift by some really famous rally driver from years ago and I can't remember his name. I know it is in this thread somewhere, but am failing at finding it.

Help the elderly... Please. :)

Edit: Don't even ask why this is in this thread. :(

Kevin M 2009-12-09 06:42 PM

Gigi Galli.

Dean, make sure if you try that you get it on tape, we want to relive the fail with you.

Tape? How quaint. I think it is time for a walker for Matt. :)

Not going to do anything like that much less on dry pavement, but I have been practicing Scandinavian Flicks this week. The timing of the counter steer and lift/brake is quite challenging. Anybody can get the car to oversteer, but doing so with control under power is a worthy challenge. I hope we reload the streets with snow this weekend.

MattR 2009-12-10 07:01 AM

Yeah, practicing your scandinavian flick now should come in handy for next autocross season. Rally drivers make it looks so easy, but it is tough to master...

Pssh...they are easy at 10mph in the snow lol

Nick Koan 2009-12-10 10:01 AM

Its also easy to make u-turns late at night when you forgot something at the office.

zpeed 2009-12-10 12:42 PM

I did a u-turn w/ my minivan. My kids loving it.

S2000, yes, minivan, no... Last thing you need is a tire dropping into a pot hole and then having to post a picture of you minivan on it's side. :(

I just pulled a scoob-nut u-turn in the Allison parking lot at lunch because I was too lazy to use reverse and do a 3-point turn. Lisa was :unamused:.

100_Percent_Juice 2010-01-02 10:17 PM

Saw eggeegg getting onto doubleR

Saw you too. Sometimes my girlfriend and i play a game similar to slugbug but with any Subaru and don't slug each other, but more like a light slap to the leg. It gets old very fast and the slapping becomes annoying.

van 2010-01-06 05:30 PM

I saw an old guy in an Audi w/ rims staring at me on Glendale blvd.

I never know if anybody recognizes the A4...
