That's Gran Turismo for you. I won't believe it exists until I can see it in the store.
I wonder if Duke Nukem Forever will come out before GT5  |

I'm with Nick. I'll believe it when I see it. But not just on a shelf in the store. I call bullshit until it is actually IN my PS3, and I'm playing it. |
OMFG! For serious!!?? I expect the delays but getting this close to release I kinda thought it was actually gonna come out soon. Guess I'll get more time with Rock band 3.
|
RB3 looks pretty awesome. I am not really jazzed about the set-list though. Hopefully they have been holding out so they can release some good DLC.
|
I totally forgot RB3. I got the new Guitar Hero band kit the other day. Songs on that are pretty good.
Also the new Medal of Honor is pretty sweet. That will hold out at least until Black Ops comes out.. And GT5 doesn't exist.. They're just saying they've made a game.. Then they'll delay it again. I gave up hope a long time ago. :( |

I've waited 4 years, what's another couple of months. I figure if they pushed it back this close to the release then it must be nearly complete. Gives me more time with F1 2010, which I need considering I'm doing a full length season.

Anyone else see this new DLC for Red Dead Redemption? Freaking zombies man.
|
Is that real? The voice over guy sounds like it's a spoof...
|
It's real. My coworker is really stoked on downloading it last night. He said he shot a zombie before work. I completed all the missions and am a little burnt out on RDR. I'd be all over it if it was a GTAIV DLC though.
|
GT5 delayed until 1/1/2011... Which happens to be a Thursday. Games aren't released on Thursdays. Looks like this game never comes out... LIke I said above. :D
I'd demand for your money back til this game actually comes out.. |
You don't pay for it til it comes out.
|
I've already payed for it, and have no intent on getting my money back. I'll wait.

Well I should say you have the CHOICE to do it. Which I know a lot of people do.. |

Someone at PD should be fired. I mean yeah, the game is around 2 years behind schedule... but when it comes down to the last few months... you get that shit done before you miss out on $20M because you can't get it out before Black Friday or you lose your job IMO. |
Seriously. What's the point of a January release? Better to wait a few months until all the kids are bored of the games they DID get for Christmas.

I think they just said january because they're not sure.. Like I said before the date they posted was a thursday and they dont release games on thursdays.. Who knows when it will be done..
|
In my junk mail there was a Walmart flier with an ad for GT5. I think WM will be pretty pissed if it's not out for X-mas.

Figures.... Trying to make themselves look good..

Newegg is showing this Thursday as the ship date. Amazon is showing Dec. 31st. Not holding my breath of course.

Fallout New Vegas reminds me of the same old crap. I really loved Fallout3 but I grew very tired of searching through every box, desk, body, trash can and wandering for HOURS without getting anything really accomplished. Obviously this is the last game you would want to rent since it is so time consuming but I have to thank Red Box for saving me a bunch of money. Did I give the game a fair chance by playing for only 6 hours? Probably not, but I am not willing to devote 50 hours to finding out what makes the game better than the first. IMO it just seems like an add-on to the first game.
|
I had that feeling too when I first started playing it. But, I was a huge fan of Fallout 1 & 2, so I've continued along. As the game goes along, the writing and atmosphere comes out, and it feels a lot more like Fallout 1 & 2 than Fallout 3.
I still get that feeling of been-there-done-that on occasion, but once you actually start meeting some of the different factions (like Caesars Legion) and start exploring, it gets really interesting. And once you get to The Strip, it really starts to feel like more than just an add-on. The religious ghouls and nightkin at the rocket factory are pretty cool. The NCR that you meet don't really have much personality to them. They are your standard trying-to-be-the-law type faction. And its kind of unfortunate they are the first faction you meet after leaving the starting town. But, as the kids like to say, your mileage may vary. It does feel a lot like Fallout 3, and I can definitely see if you cannot get over that. But, if you were a fan of the first 2 and/or just want more Fallout 3, then I think this game fits the bill perfectly. |
