I've been playing it. You can read all my complaints on the F1 2010/2011 game thread on NASIOC. It's better than 2010, but still has lots of quality issues like the old version.

In my opinion it's by far the best racing sim on console.

Limited time free GT5 Redbull X2010 download if Vettel wins the F1 championship.

My friend and I unlocked the X2010 in GT5 a while ago and it is without a doubt the most difficult thing to drive, ever. It's like driving a bullet, acceleration and braking are incredible, fun car but I don't even have the video game driving skills to handle it.

I hear GT5 is getting a large update/patch this week, It's called Spec 2.0. I also heard that the revised physics and tyre data have greatly improved the driving experience in the Forza 4 demo.

Try it without a wheel. Point and shoot. Don't brake and turn at the same time. Oh, and completely dominate every event there is, even driving like a total noob. For fun, put your best B Spec drivers in it for the enduro at Tsukuba. Hilarity.

Sony actually came through, I just downloaded the car.

Seriously, watch your B Sec drivers haul that thing around the enduro at Tsukuba. I promise you will lol.

Yep. They also threw in a special TT event for a week. Winnning earns you 5 million credits.

Just picked up Forza 4 from walmart at ....12:15am. 0_0

Anyway, It's pretty awesome. Quite a bit of fun.

rFactor 2 trailer is out. GPL part deux anyone?

sperry 2011-10-14 09:26 PM

Awesome. Sure is taking them long enough to release RF2 though.

AtomicLabMonkey 2011-10-15 01:02 PM

Seriously. From what I've read though those guys aren't dedicated game developers, they do mostly contract simulation work for pro customers and rFactor is kind of their side project for the masses.

A lot of the better sims started life that way, like steel beasts and DCS: A10
