Meet was a bust last night... had fun hanging out with Jon and Bobby for a while tho!

Nobody replied, and I was getting ready for the PDX instructor class Sat., so I flaked. Sorry.

Dude, if you're dragging your ass out to the meet let me know and I'll try harder to make it. I haven't seen you out there in a while!

I have softball games on Thursdays, so I won't be at a meet for a couple months...

I know, but it was a last minute decision. Didn't have internet access, and didn't see fit to call and bug anybody. I wanted to come check this thread, but had a hellish afternoon... I'll try harder next time!

Lets do a meet on wednesday at a different place than Tamarack. Just to mix it up.

Again with the moving of the meets!

How about you tell us where and when and folks can show up if they're interested. We'll keep the regularly scheduled meets going until it looks like a new place/time works better.

From what I have been reading, if I show up with 2 other people it will work better. I will scout out some places and when I find somewhere that I think is worth going, then I will post it up and we can go from there.

I'm not disputing that a Wed meet might be better. I'm just trying to avoid routing people all over town every week as we try out new spots.

In the past when we moved the meet, MattR or I or tyson or some of the other guys would do a pre-meet. Talk to the manager at the place, find out if they'd be cool w/ us coming once a week. 'Course back then, it was 20 people and 15 cars in the parking lot... so the place probably appreciated a heads-up. If it's just 5 people, I don't know that anywhere will care since we'll all fit at one table.

BTW: if you go to a Bully's, the older members will lynch your ass. :unamused: :lol:

The first meet I went to was when it was at Bully's up in N Reno. I remember the shock at the rising food prices and deteriorating quality.

Yeah. That was the tail end of like 4 years straight meeting at Bully's. I'm still tired of eating there, and I haven't been to one in like 2 years now.

someone needs to open a hooters in reno. id be down for a meet there haha.

I'll be there. Too bad my mad tight JDM (yo) grill is getting repainted. The hood actually matches the fenders now though.

I'll be sporting DK's '91 L so hopefully Cory can take it for a spin and figure out what the pulsing under braking is. It has me stumped.
