Sweet. How long did the DL take you? If it's not going to finish quickly, I'll wait til I get home.

Nick Koan 2009-03-20 02:53 PM

About 10 minutes here at work, but the connection has been slow today. If you get the normal version, its about 40 mb IIRC.

I like that they can tour together as NINJA. Hah!

cody 2009-03-20 02:56 PM

Oh, cool, it only took 30 seconds. I just remember how crazy slow some of the free downloads of albums have been.

Edit: Erm. It's stuck at 80%.

Edit2: Failed, Trying again.

Dean 2009-03-20 03:46 PM

Only the MP3s are a DL, others are torrent links.

cody 2009-03-20 03:53 PM

Okay, finally got it on the ~10th try and listened to it. Pretty cool. Street Sweeper kinda sounds like Ice Cube.

Anyone going to see the Swollen Members Wed or Thurs? Oh nobody is going, wow very surprising. How about Atmosphere next month? I know a few people here like him. He puts on a good show and the Mont Bleu is a great venue.

My Mom doesn't let me go out on school nights.

iTunes has released the first movement of John Cage's 4'33" for free.

The other two movements are $0.99 each.

In 2009 Petri Purho released "4 Minutes and 33 Seconds of Uniqueness", a computer game which can only be won by a player if they are the only person in the world playing it for 4 minutes and 33 seconds.
I can't wait for the co-op version to come out!

Dean 2009-04-01 08:53 AM

You can download the "4 Minutes and 33 Seconds of Uniqueness" game Here.

You can also check the leader board

Edit: please move this to the new games thread... :)

I thought they were going to release it on a special edition Zune for only $499.00?

cody 2009-04-01 02:28 PM

Jesus, are the last two posts in 22nd century money?

Nick Koan 2009-04-01 02:35 PM

We can only hope the USD is still strong in the 22nd century.

JonnydaJibba 2009-04-01 02:59 PM

I wonder what the email says. "Gotcha bitch!"

Nick Koan 2009-04-01 03:00 PM

I tried it for kicks. It takes you to this page (doesn't seem to care about the e-mail at all really).

Cody is having a difficult time keeping up today... The new street tire rules are really going to blow him away... :)

cody 2009-04-01 03:49 PM

Consider me blown away.

My new favorite album came out in February, but its becoming one of my favorite hip-hop albums this year.

P.O.S. - Never Better

It looks like he's going to be opening for Atmosphere at Montbleu.

Heh, I started working out in the mornings and I had MTV on because they actually play music vids in the morning and I haven't watched MTV since I was a kid and that last vid you linked came on. I was half asleep and I was like, "uh, I don't think that's Eddie Vedder?" But as you can see on that capture, it's labeled Why go, Pearl Jam, Ten. :~:

I'm thinking of picking up Ten for Rock Band.

MattR 2009-04-21 01:27 PM

Is anyone going to see Atmosphere tonight? I'm heading to the bay in the AM, so I decided to skip it, but it should be a good show.

I'm in love with aboveandbeyond.com's Trance Around The World Podcast. Listening to #290 right now. Free new music is the best.

cody 2009-10-19 01:25 PM

Link?

I used to listen to those guys on XM when they were on frequently w/ Store-N-Forward. I think that show was canned during the Sirius/XM merger 'cause I haven't heard it in a while. :?:

I tend to find Above and Beyond to be a little too trance-y for my taste. But about half of their stuff/remixes are pretty cool.

I'd pull it down on my iPhone right now and give it a listen if they would friggen support iTunes downloads over 3G. Looks like I'll have to wait 'till I'm home over the WiFi.

I will say though, the Pandora app works over 3G. That's pretty damn cool.
