1'20's

I'm using the d-pad on the controller thinking about swtiching to the analog knob.

So, I got my nifty little vid cap card working on the laptop... I updated my Sears Point lap w/ new captured video:

So how many of you have Gran Turismo 4? Anybody interested in a challenge? We could designate a car and track to play in Arcade mode. Take a screenshot or somthing to illustrate your best time. When sombody holds the best time for a week, they get to designate a new car and track.

Look good Cody! Thanks for keeping the 1st post updated. You might want to add the winning time to the previous winners list, just so other people can check themselves against old challenges w/o having to scour the thread.

And, after running a few laps on the current challenge I'm only down to a 1'14.601. I'm having a lot of trouble through the esses... the fast line is to cut one of the corners pretty significantly, but the car is *extremely* prone to spinning with one wheel in the dirt... you have to be very straight over the grass to keep control.

I'll try again tomorrow, preferable w/o any Tylenol PM in me. :eek:

That little car is a lot more fun to drive then I thought, you can really huck it around.

Sorry I didn't specify in the first post Jonny. I didn't realize there was more than one since I'm not that far in the game.

I used the time from Sperry's video, 1:22.898 to edit the first post...let me know if there's anything else...

It's cool, he won that anyway, I just wanted to see how good I could do but the Stock Car Course is a lot shorter.

Can't wait to get home and tweak on some lap times. I can really get cookin now that I know the course and have learned how to drive that car. In retrospect, it really is a good choice I think. Hella fun to drive.

I'm in 1'15 another 2 second off. I gonna try harder this weekend.

I played for a little bit last night. Lowest was 1 15 077. I quit as I was finally starting to get those chicanes down good.

I just started my game over again, so I don't have that track, I played at Jonny's house and was posting 1:15.724.

I think Alan got his copy of the game from Japan early, or cheaper, or something. IIRC he was posting all sorts of info about the game before anyone else had it. (I think that was bemani posting that stuff... I can't really remember.)

Yeah, I played it when it was out in Japan too. Thats cool.
