Trent responded on twitter a week ago or so.

Many years ago, a young and naive Nine Inch Nails were asked what TV shows they'd be interested in appearing on. As a joke (and likely drunk), they thought of the most absurd choice they could come up with at the time. They were then informed their bluff had been called and were actually booked on said show (thanks again Sioux Z). They hopped in their Honda Civic touring vehicle (hatchback) and travelled many miles to (I think) NJ for the big show. They had a laugh making fun of the people, their fashion choices and hairstyles. Life was good. Years later, the internet is discovered...

There's a moral in there somewhere.
Broken up over a few tweets.

Why? That's fuckin' awesome!

:lol::lol:

Also, it made this seem relevant. Not sure why.

My nephew is "Snack Man"

It's now pushing 1.7 million views

It is absolutely crazy! He now has a contract with Pringles. LOL!

Nick Koan 2012-04-16 07:25 PM

That's hilarious! Just waltzes on in, stops a fight, eats some chips.

And ends up on Inside Edition and the Today show!

Wat?

So I just had to ask my friend who's both a sports writer and is part Korean what the hell is going on. He basically said its called a chicken fight, and a pretty standard way to settle minor arguments (or just have fun).

Um... I think I just figured out how the whole North Korea / South Korea situation can be solved...

Kevin M 2012-04-23 07:37 PM

That had to be staged. The pitch was lobbed but the guy hopped around like his arm was broken, and the rest of both teams didn't look all that pissed. Do Koreans 'celebrate' April Fool's Day?

According to the intertube page I read, it was a celebrity/charity game or something. So yes, it was setup.

When I studied Tae Kwon Do, we did "chicken fights" all the time. It's a really good way to work on overall balance, and endurance.

So, not sure where else to put this. But here's how I spent my weekend (in front of Premiere, splicing virtual cellophane).

What is the purpose of the camouflage clothing in this competition?

To keep the vultures from thinking they are carrion and trying to have them for lunch. :)

Scotty, Why is yours a "cheater gun"?

It's so when we go to a big match we don't look out of place ;-) Actually, the only camo I wear is the hat, it's better than looking like I stepped right out of REI or Patagucci. Chuck's coat is a shooting coat with non-skid elbows and shoulder.

That's me being sarcastic about using a cartridge that marries low recoil with high ballistic efficiency. Works great against paper and paint, but delivers low amounts of terminal energy so is not tremendously practical.

Remember that time, 6 years ago when we got a shout-out on Speed during an F1 race?

EDIT: Just cleaning out my hard drive, wanted to make sure it was immortalized. But, then I found out that sperry beat me by like 5 years

MattR 2012-10-09 06:21 AM

Awesome! That was so cool, that was before Bob got overwhelmed with requests for shout outs...

The cool thing was, Bob was actually answering those requests himself, I got a reply back from him directly when I made the request.

Snoop re-records Drop It Like Its Hot for a Hot Pockets commercial. Pocket Like Its Hot.

No... really.

This might be the worst thing I've seen in a long time.

His $10,000 a day weed habit doesn't just pay for itself. Sometimes you gotta slang them munchies.

Nick Koan 2013-07-12 01:33 PM

Bump!

MattR 2013-07-12 02:22 PM

Unreal!! Saw that on Jalopnik this morning and died laughing. So wrong.

k-dogg39 2013-07-12 04:05 PM

 that is hilarious! Trolled!
