Whoa neat! You guys should go meet up with them :)

tysonK 2004-06-18 11:31 PM

So that's a long thread..

Where and when are they meeting?

MattR 2004-06-19 02:56 AM

Cliffnotes? too fucking long to read...

JC 2004-06-19 09:56 AM

First of all, fuck you guys for making me be the one to read through their thread. I mean damn people how about updating the first post? Anyway here's the only sort of itinerary I found. I did also manage to find the phone # of the girl organizing it , so I can give her a call if you guys want to try and catch up with them at some point.

Friday night: meet in the parking lot (towards the back, where there should be lots of room) at the Sands Regency sometime in the neighborhood of 4:00 - 5:00. I will do my very very best to be one of the first ones there (anyone know how long it takes to get from Salt Lake to Reno?). Once everyone's gathered we can talk cars, get food, whatever.

Sat morning: more meeting in the parking lot at Sands to talk cars. Then head out on Lake Tahoe drive approximately 9:30. Matt is going to have maps and stuff for us. This sounds like it's going to be pretty much an all-day trip.

Sat night: right now there is no officially planned dinner for everyone, but I still think it would be nice for all of us to try to go somewhere together. There is a comedy club at the Sands that's supposed to be really good. I think that would be a fun thing to do after dinner.

Sun morning: we could get together for breakfast if that's something everyone would like to do. Maybe we could visit the museum that day as well, depending on everyone's schedule for heading home.

Damn, sounds cool... I wish I had seen this a week ago, we could have planned some sort of inter-club meet!

JC give 'em a call or something and see if the wanna hit the Hilton go-kart track tonight or something!

JC 2004-06-19 10:16 AM

Alright, I called her. She said she'd call me back when she stopped driving. After she told me it was a bad time to call because she was driving, like I'm supposed to know. :P

ArthurS 2004-06-19 12:29 PM

I wish I could meet up, but I will be camping for my b-day

dknv 2004-06-19 01:14 PM

Happy Birthday, Art!

JC 2004-06-19 04:58 PM

Well I have a feeling the gal ain't gonna call me back. They are staying at the Sands if anyone wants to try to track them down. I'm probably not gonna bother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Art! How old are you now? 15 :P

I was driving back from Carson today and saw 4 of these guys on their way back to Reno. Pretty nice SVXs, and fairly well modded it appeared. One even had a custom dark orange metallic paint job that looked really nice. One had Colarado plates, one Arizona, and 2 from CA. All the ones I see around here are stock looking, but these guys had rims and were lowered, and one sounded turboed. I pulled in to Water Wheel to eat dinner at the North end of Carson, so i didn't get to run up the valley with them. But they were pretty sweet looking cars.

khail19 2004-06-19 08:16 PM

Oh, and Happy B-day to Art!

MattR 2004-06-19 09:31 PM

Wow! Could thay have possibly picked a busier, more hectic weekend downtown? Someone didn;t do their homework, Reno was a zoo this weekend.

JC 2004-06-19 09:38 PM

Haha, did you read any of the thread? Talk about a cluster fuck of info. They did say there is a guy who lived in Reno, I'll try and track him down and get him on the site.

I was wrong, there is a girl who lives in Reno. The girl I called said she'd send her to our site. :D

I know, I should probably edit that, but you guys already quoted it, and thats a lot of work for me...

Naw, look at us, we're so much fun! I'd come to a meet with people as cool as we are.

Besides, if you hadn't made that joke, I'm sure I would have gotten around to it eventually. It's pretty much a standard for meeting people named Naomi, I'm sure she hears it at least 3 times a year.
