Good deal... Since they have seventeen by seven and a heif, and I'd just paint 'em something..

But I'm broke too. Heh heh.

cody 2005-12-29 05:30 PM

Yah, and they're lighter than Rota's by a couple pounds...

*sigh*

Dean 2005-12-29 05:32 PM

That is a good deal on light 17x7.5" wheels. They look a lot like my RP01s on the Stealth. Unfortuntely, they won't fit over STI Brembos or Stoptechs. Shipping is reasonable at just under $55.

Nick Koan 2005-12-29 05:39 PM

Why can't I find cheap and light 17x8's. Woe is me.

cody 2005-12-29 08:27 PM

Damnit!

Kevin M 2005-12-29 09:43 PM

Wow... that's what my Volk/S03 setup weighed almost exactly. For like, 1/4 of retail!

khail19 2005-12-29 10:11 PM

I can't believe I'm the first to say it...GOOD FIND! Seriously though, this is a great deal on fairly light wheels. I think I can't pass this up, but the wife will kill me.

bemani 2005-12-30 07:35 AM

Wow their server is crap, I couldn't order last night or this morning at all.

cody 2005-12-30 08:25 AM

They've got some seriously killer deals right now. They're probably getting hammered.

bemani 2005-12-30 10:30 AM

Thanks for the heads up. Got it mounted with $100 RT615s.

cody 2005-12-30 11:17 AM

Wow, living vicariously through others sucks. :P Glad you hooked up that deal bemani.

Duckie 2005-12-30 11:38 AM

That deal is awesome o_O. Makes me wish I could get a refund on my wheels and buy a set of those.

A1337STI 2006-01-13 12:22 PM

wow that is good deal. i paid 110 a peice for my enkies a year or so back. sold em with my 03 wrx though. hehehe

cody 2006-01-27 09:27 AM

Alright, the deal is still available and I think I can afford them. Since they have some great deals on tire packages, can anyone suggest what auto-x tire I should get mounted on them please?

MattR 2006-01-27 09:33 AM

Falken Azenis Rt615 or Hankook Z212 are the best choices.

Discount Tire has your size (225-45-17) for $106 for the Hankook

Dean 2006-01-27 09:35 AM

615s for Street Tire, V710s for R compound. Go read the Grassroots article from this thread...

Nick Koan 2006-01-27 09:38 AM

RE070 :p

cody 2006-01-27 09:52 AM

Okay thanks. Some 225's could rub since I have a wagon. should I just pick a tire and then decide if I have to go 215 or 225 depending on how the specific tire is known to run (wide or narrow)?

The Falkens run large... a 225 has a 9.1" cross-section (equivalent to most 245 tires).

MattR 2006-01-27 10:01 AM

I used to run 225-45-17 Azenis 215's on my wagon and had no rubbing issues, even though as Scott said, they are a very large 225.

cody 2006-01-27 10:08 AM

Any clue how much camber you were running Matt?

Since he didn't have any suspension components on that thing, I'm gonna guess "stock" camber.

cody 2006-01-27 10:38 AM

Damn, that's crazy. What offset and size wheels?
