Snakes on a plane

Who's up for this on friday night? To get you in the mood, here is an excerpt from the wikipedia entry for this movie:

I am guaranteeing that Snakes on a Plane will win best movie next year. Does not matter what else is coming out. The New James Bond... no snakes in that! Ocean's 13... where my snakes at? Shrek the Third... green, but not a snake. No movie shall triumph over Snakes on a Plane. Unless I happen to feel like making a movie called Mo' Motha-fuckin' Snakes on Mo' Motha-fuckin' Planes."

I'm there. Samuel Jackson rules.

Kevin M 2006-08-14 08:25 PM

 I'm in so the sequel will make more sense when I watch that!

Go to snakesonaplane.com and check out the "personal voice message" from Sam Jackson! That shit's great! One of the other techs here sent me one on Saturday. You can go in and edit what Sam says, and basically you get a call from him on your cell phone where he talks shit to you for a minute or two, and tells you to go see his movie or he'll come kick your ass!

I just sent a Sam Jackson phone call to MattR... let's see if that shit works!

JonnydaJibba 2006-08-15 09:41 AM

WTF you can never see that chick naked or what? Fuck games that tease naked chicks. Sure I could google almost any word in the dictionary and get a sexual result, but that's not the point! It's the principle!

cody 2006-08-15 09:47 AM

Laff@Jonny

Dammit! Well, feel reassured that I entered your phone number into some random website. Have fun with those telemarketers! :P

MattR 2006-08-15 04:21 PM

:omg:

GC8.Love 2006-08-16 12:23 PM

Well, I wanted to go, but I'll be somewheres in CA...

Nick Koan 2006-08-16 12:28 PM

MikeK 2006-08-16 12:47 PM

Fandago has listings for Friday

Dean 2006-08-16 12:49 PM

Damn, not fast enough on the Ninja edit...

If people can get off work early, 5:05 might be the least crowded.

Otherwise, 6:50 in the lobby, 7:00 in the theatre?

MikeK 2006-08-16 01:08 PM

7:30 is the earliest one I could make.

Kevin M 2006-08-16 01:25 PM

Crowd, schmowds. 7:30 for me. Although I might just Fandango this time.

Dean 2006-08-16 01:30 PM

I could walk over and get tickets at lunch Friday for anybody who pays me beforehand at the meet.

And I am cheaper than supporting those mistreaters of innocent paper bags.

Kevin M 2006-08-16 01:49 PM

That works too. :D

MikeK 2006-08-18 09:43 AM

Bump!

7:30 tonight, who is coming to see this fine work of art?

Dean 2006-08-18 09:43 AM

So, 6:50 in the lobby, 7:00 in the theatre?

Nobody gave me cash at the meet, so everyone is on their own.

dknv 2006-08-21 08:34 AM

how was the movie, worth seeing?

MikeK 2006-08-21 09:42 AM

It was awesome! It bordered on slapstick comedy. Every time someone opened a door or panel on the plane a snake would fire out and latch onto their head. Everyone in the cinema was laughing the whole way through. Definately worth seeing :)
