About time....

That I went Stage 2. I spent yesterday swapping Downpipes with Pete and then flashing my car to Stage 2. OMG...I wish I would have done this a long time ago! Full catless with the Blitz Nur Spec R is the sexiest sound ever! That is all....

I know where you can get an aquamist for cheap.

Nick Koan 2008-07-30 03:49 PM

Yeah. Well, maybe not cheap, but definitely from someone local.

Good shit dude! And remember: Don't drive like a NooB and your gears should be fine!

WRX06TR 2008-07-30 04:23 PM

^Yea, I have been granny shifting all day, but its still been a fun increase in power. I think everything should be fine...*knocks on wood table*

If you drive in my neighbourhood I'm going to throw rocks at your car.

Its not that loud. Well, not as loud as it was when I pulled out of Robbies garage with no downpipe on...

wrxkidid 2008-08-04 11:06 PM

That was ridiculous.

WRX06TR 2008-08-09 09:09 PM

Some shitty news...So I went to update the Firmware on my APV2 today and I found I needed to uninstall it from the car before I could do so. So I went down to my car and tried to uninstall the AP. Well, it keeps failing the vehicle identification. I can't change maps or uninstall the AP. So, I started browsing the Cobb forums and found that the only way to cure the problem is to send Cobb my AP and ECU...shitty because my car is my only means of transportation...Oh, well i suppose afterwards hopefully everything works well.

MPREZIV 2008-08-09 09:29 PM

Weaksauce.

WRX06TR 2008-08-09 10:13 PM

WOOT! Im not quite sure what I did, but the AP uninstalled from the car today and I updated it with new firmware. Damn that was scary...

100_Percent_Juice 2008-08-11 08:04 AM

^I think APs just do that. I had the same problem about a year ago. It just wouldn't uninstall from my car but, I kept trying like 10 times and it finally did.

sperry 2008-08-11 09:37 AM

Weird. My AP and ECU sat on a shelf for like 2 years. I plugged them both back into the car and it unmarried on the 1st try, no drama. :?:

Maybe your car felt like it owed you one.

I didn't need gas on the way to work today so I must never need gas to get to work.

Not only was there no logical fallacy with my statement, your attempt at illogical analogy isn't even correctly wrong.

What you meant to say was "I didn't need gas on the way to work today so I must never need to get gas on the way to work." Which, of course could actually be true if you were to fill up on the way home from work all the time.

Either way, just because I find something to be weird due to my own experience w/ the AP doesn't mean I'm arguing that I don't believe there is no problem. Just that the problem is weird.

cody 2008-08-11 10:31 AM

You're a fallacy.

I *think* you got my point though. Just because your X device behaved normally doesn't mean that it's weird that Joe and Tom's X device behaved abnormally.
