SCCA Divisional Boise Aug. 21-22

There was talk of possibly traveling to the divisional event in Boise, to be hosted by the Snake River Region on Saturday and Sunday August 21-22.

Who's in?
I'm 80% sure I'll go.

Dean 2004-07-12 09:10 PM

I'm there.

Technically, it is a divisional though. Normal events are regionals.

dknv 2004-07-13 09:03 AM

I'm in.
What is the popular opinion, 5 hr. drive to Boise? If so, I'm going to schedule an early out on Friday afternoon, Aug. 20.

Maybe if I get some progressive springs on the car before then....

We could trailer it again...lets borrow a trailer, assuming of course I can drive your car

Hell, if we can trailer the car for free (i.e. don't have to rent anything) then that would be much better! And you can co-drive it, I like warming my tires for other people.

If someone has room to haul a set of Hoosiers with them then I'm in.

If I take my sisters truck and scotts car on the trailer, there will be plenty of room to haul stuff.

dknv 2004-07-14 08:56 AM

Being competitive doesn't mean you have to win.
Competitive: meanings - spirited (adj), viable (adj), reasonable (adj); synonyms: gung-ho, bloodthirsty, ready for action, aggressive, cutthroat.

You tell me!

Pat R. 2004-07-14 09:24 AM

Yes, I ordered a set of Hoosiers this morning. I wasn't planning on getting them this year but they are on sale right now- 40% off!

what a bargain for me, I think I will buy some.

Hoosier is probably still giggling over all the new addicts they created in the past week with that sale. :P Wait til all the people who jumped on the A/RS03s find out the A/Rs04s are even better.

Yeah, now that I have some crack I have to wait until 8/14 before I can smoke it.

I guess that gives me plenty of time to install my big front swaybar, align the car, install a MattR-style "cheater" exhaust, and mount the Hosers on my spare wheels. Oh yeah- my new front pads should be here tomorrow.

It's time to go Boxster hunting! :)

There's a mouse in my beer , eh!

sperry 2004-07-20 08:45 PM

Doug: Elsinore!

Bob: T-t-twelve.

Doug: Twenty-four!

Bob: Oh yeah, sorry! Twenty-four Elsinore beers!

Clerk: $14.70!

Doug: I'm afraid there'll be no charge on this two-four of beer, thank you.

Clerk: Excuse me?

Doug: Okay, we found this mouse in a bottle of Elsinore beer that we bought at your beer store, eh? And we heard that when that happens you get your beer free!

Bob: It's in the Canadian Criminal Code, eh? Like, there's legal cases... set in precedents... in law!

Doug: Yeah! So give us our free beer!

BEST MOVIE EVAR! I haven't watch StrangeBrew in a while... I got it on DVD, we should have a mini-movie night for all the SECCS Hosers.

MattR 2004-07-20 08:47 PM

Only if you're bringing the backbacon and jelly-filleds!

MattR 2004-07-26 07:40 PM

bump....Back on topic we go!

Hey, I've been trying to find sign up info for this event, but have had no luck...Any ideas...Its not on MyAutoEvents or Snake River's site...

it's getting closer.

dknv 2004-07-27 05:06 AM

Talked to some of the Idaho guys this past weekend. Scott Troyer is pushing them to get some info posted quick. Event is supposedly at Mountain Home Air Base or Airfield.

dknv 2004-08-09 09:01 PM

For anyone who put this on your calendar - cross it out, it's off. Snake River couldn't lock in the site, and had to cancel the event. \ :?
