Except check on the brake fluid group buy, and whore yourself out so you can pay for the track day. :P

Kevin M 2004-08-02 12:29 PM

Done and you wish. :P

sp00ln 2004-08-02 01:24 PM

Why dont you just install it yourself? It's not hard, there's nothing that you could really mess up, and you'll learn how to work on your car in the process.

Well, that sucked. Injen shorted Brandon one of his hoses, so I tried to convert his CAI to short ram for short term use, but no go. Stupid ricer companies.

Yeah, his intake is realy nice too...Did Brandon buy it from a vendor, auction, or directly from Injen? I like Injen's products..just cause they make Honda parts does not make them a ricer company.

U53D 2004-08-02 03:20 PM

i got it directly from injen :x

Kevin M 2004-08-02 03:23 PM

I don't have any complaints about the quality of the parts (other than the fact that the MAF adapter plate had the boltholes in slightly wrong spacing), but any company that says a cold air intake makes extra power on a MAF-equipped Subaru is rice.

U53D 2004-08-02 03:27 PM

So i called Injen, and i have to fax the damn reciept and part number that i need... so im just straight up pissed that i have to wait another week... oh well, i guess the kid had it comin

JC 2004-08-02 04:39 PM

I don't think that said auto parts store would be willing to give him the hose for free and invoice Injen. It's the princiPALITY of the matter!

sp00ln 2004-08-02 07:13 PM

Holy shit... it's like $1 and they're thin and cheap anyways.

U53D 2004-08-03 09:35 AM

Okay, i had to fax my reciept and my fuckin life for god sakes over to injen just to have the receptionist say, " Brandon, if it was just a hose like this, we could have just said sure and sent you another" :x I was like, "okay thanks for you L:JNSFL:IHB:OUSDHTGO:"UTHOU:GSBOWBNGO"ENTGO:ETB"OE HTO"IHGB"OEIHT"GOIHE"OTLHI"OIHTOEHT"O, time."

Its a pain on our cars, and yeah, you need a long extension to reach down there.

Did you get an intake? Which one?

I've done it. All you need is a philips!

He needs more than that on his 1998 Impreza RS. Trust me, I already did most of the install once.

BTW, if you want to come back over for round 2, be my guest Brandon.

Nice work! You'll learn infinately more doing the work yourself than by watching someone else do it. Just remember if you get stuck, you can always ask on here or get help from one of the board members. Don't b0rk your car!
