Exact same thing I thought, but we're safe, it's actually down.

IE just says that there's no page to load, but Mozilla actually throws an error:

"Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked."

It looks like it happens while the page tries to load its advertisements.

maybe they violated the terms of agreements for the host?

Nick Koan 2004-08-10 09:02 AM

Here is the error message I get in Safari

Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://d2.sourcedns1.com/suspended.page/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

ArthurS 2004-08-10 09:15 AM

How odd.

The page cannot be displayed

murphy 2004-08-10 09:16 AM

Nick Koan 2004-08-10 09:57 AM

S602 Zoom.... I believe it's the previous generation to the S5000, or S7000 or something. Ask Dean, he's got one of the newer ones.

Speaking of cameras and pictures... I was going through my Rim 2002 pics... is this you!?

That would be on one of the fire trails where some 'tard in an SUV parked so as to block the entire road. We pushed the car halfway over the side of the cliff to get him out of the way. If that's you, then I "met" you about 2 years earlier than I realized!

Negative, ghostrider, though it fits the profile (literally and figuratively)
I never wear soccer sandals or denim shirts ;)

I'm trying to decide which camera to pull the trigger on. I like the 10x optical on the S5000 a whole lot, and can get one for $300 :D

I figured the hair was the thing that looked most like you... you know sticking up.

And, here's everything you ever wanted to know about digital cameras: http://www.dpreview.com/

Was just reading there now :)
s602 is starting to look better. Any reason not to buy one?

It's really a toss up between the S602Z/Pro, S5000Z and S7000Z. The 602 will probably be the cheapest, and seems to be the "fastest" as far as taking and recording pictures. But the image quality on the SuperCCD IV that comes on the other two is superior. The 5000 has a better optical zoom, but the 7000 has the better lense overall. I like taking long exposure night shots, and I wish I had the SuperCCD IV, plus the menus/software on the two newer cameras is a lot more user friendly, not to mention the higher resolution (although I generally take only 1MP or 3MP images anyway). However, if you're taking pictures at a race event, then the 5 pics/second and the quick response time of the 602 is awesome. Also, IIRC the 602Z takes the best movies, 640x480 or 320x200 at 30fps w/ sound for as long as you've got memory... but they're uncompressed .AVIs so 15 minutes of video is like 500MB.

It's definately a hard decision. Honestly, the best thing to do is to get a 602Z for the quick and dirty shots, and a P2 DSLR for the high quality images... the P2's only about $2000, and then you need buy a lense.

The S7000 is definately nicer than my S602. But there are a few things the 602 does a little faster than the S5000 and S7000's, plus it should cost about $100 less.
