I actually have 2 stock catbacks...Thanks though.
My plans are constantly changeing since I have more options right now. Once this deal goes through (which could be by 7pm tonight) then I will have my plan. |

Its officially gone on Friday. The headlights, foglights, and side markers I need other people's stock parts for...so let me know if anyone has interest in these before then.

Dude, I drove by your house last night to check on progress, but the rex was out front and it didn;t look like anything was happening. I might have my stock wagon corner lenses around, I'll drop them by if I do, then you can sell your corners at another time.

Well, everything now has to be off by tomorrow. What a confusion.
I am starting tonight. I am going to pull the headlights and hope that someone wants um, or I will have to buy someones stocks. If no one wants the fogs, I'll probably keep them on the car. Tyson....how about your stock grill + 40? |

I would love those JDMs, but I just found a set of Orciaris on NASIOC for like $300 that I couldn't pass up. And I already have the Hella FF1000s, which are the same as the Prodrive lights without the brackets. They are awesome though, whoever gets them will never need their high beams again.

Tasks for tomorrow are Downpipe, Foglights, IC hoses, Side Markers, and HD mounts. |

Here's a question... is the tranny cooler somehow tranny specific? Or can I buy it and use it as an oil cooler?

AFAIK, oil coolers in general have larger fittings and larger tube sizes than tranny coolers. At least it seems to be the case with the few I've sold to people. ATF is typically thinner than motor oil, but if you were running 5W30 or less you might be able to get away with it. I would rather get a specific oil cooler and play it safe though.

I'm funds limited right now on the install. Once I get my shit together, I'm planning on putting the 6-speed in the WRX as soon as I can. I was hoping to get it done this month, but it's not looking good, with taxes coming and all.
Once the 6-speed is in the WRX, the 5-speed gets to chill at the shop for a bit. I have a list of stuff I want to do to the SVX, and I'd like to get it all done at once: 5-speed (WRX 3.545) dual exhaust (2.25" stainless, 2 cats, 2 resinators, 2 mufflers) shocks/springs (bilstens, GC perches, eibach springs) So, once the WRX is all set, I'm gonna try to take care of all of the SVX stuff at once... funds allowing. As far as the cooler... like I said, I want a remote filter, thermostated, cooler. So I'll probably just do it all at once. And I'd like SS line w/ earl fittings because an oil line failure at a track would probably mean the end of the motor before I even realized it was leaking. |
